Maquissar
I've found out a few things that can - at least in my case - enhance the wholeMorrowind experience: read them and tell me what you think about them. They arejust very general guidelines and sometimes I don't follow them all, but still it could be worth it to try playing the game this way. 1 - DON'T PLAN YOUR LEVEL-UPS. I used to make carefully planned schemes which went like "ok, now I'll raise myLong Sword skill 5 points, my Armorer skill 2 points and my Axe skill 3 points so I'll get a 5x multiplier to Strength when I level up."Although this is the way to go if you want to profit most from your level ups, that is likely to spoil your gaming experience. It is difficult to be absorbed by the game's atmosphere if you keep thinking about levelling mechanics. 2. DON'T DO SILLY THINGS IN ORDER TO LEVEL UP. This is self explainatory - I know that if you keep jumping in the same spot for 20 minutes your Acrobatics skill will go up faster, and that if you remain hidden in acorner of a pub with the CTRL key taped down you will raise your Sneak skill faster, but would you do these things in real life? Wouldn't it be a little weird if your fierce Nord Barbarian merrily hopped all the way from Vivec to Balmora? Always remain in character :) 3. UBER IS BAD. That applies both to your character's attributes and to your artifacts; being invincible might be fun at first, but playing the whole game without any seriouschallenge can be boring. I would abstain from making a weapon that causes100 damage per hit. 4. ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU ARE ROLE PLAYING. Morrowind is a Role Play Game. That means you're not a student/lawyer/surgeon/llama trainer anymore, but for the duration of the gameyou become a whole new character. So act like that character would, thinkas he would and you'll probably have more fun in the end. 5. DON'T CHEAT NOR EXPLOIT GAME GLITCHES... ...but this has already been said many times :) There could be many more points to write, but I'll stop for now. What do you think? Do you have anything to add that you feel, in your case, has helped improveyour Morrowind experience? Please share it :)
m_gobes
I would say to make the role play thing more realistic you should have your character sometimes doing something fun other than running errands all the time. I'm not suggesting to get a basketball mod or anything but something kind of like a hobby i.e. alchemy.
mrpyromania
How to enjoy Morrowind? Get realism mods,or if you like messing around a bit, completly unbalancing mods. I for one, after finishing the main quest, started to work my way up the Mage Guild, beacuse I want to find out what is in the Restrictied area. Also,I try and make full sets of armors for my Manniquens.
dunmer_jediknight
here is one : resist the urge to use the control screen. Did that once and in no time had 10,000 gold, a ring of hiding (calmelon 100% CE), a belt if health( restore health 100-200 CE) and the unique ebony curass with shield 50 CE. In fact if you make a encantment try to stay away from CE it can really make a game real boring real quick. :P
Feron
i play on xbox and the reason for this is temptation to use the control screen, xbox users play the game without the control screen -- don't see why pc users should have any trouble with that

Feron
different people have different views on how to enjoy the game better, after completetion of all 3 main quests i am going to start a new character - a wood elf armed with only a bow and rags, limiting myself to carrying only 100 weight maximum.and leaving all money behind so that i have to start off by fending for myself. I chose wood elf because they have the beast tongue ability -- helps you not to get lonely =x lol

Slaiv
One thing: wait for MEMod and/or Iredior. Then you'll enjoy. At least you better. ***Looks around, nodding at certain people dressed in black suits, with dark glasses and a headphone in their right ear...***
