Antioche
In New vegas; I can zoom in after reaching third person; & get right up to my players face; What is causing Skyrim to fade my character away when the "camera lens" reaches about two feet & is closing? it looks like she's being vaporized & teleported as she simply fades out...another few increments and BAM...I'm back in first-person mode... There has got to be someway to override this command; Bethesda never had such funky camera defaults before !! Any aid on this would be helpful; thanks as always all. ~Jack Burton ( ME! )
IsharaMeradin
if you want to get in close to your character's face for a screenshot press ~ key to open the consoletype tfc 1 <-- tfc toggles the free camera on or off. the 1 value tells it to stop actor movements. use tfc 0 to reset after you are finishedtype sucsm 1 <-- sucsm adjusts the camera motion. the 1 value is as low as you can go and it still move. the higher the number the faster the camera moves, the lower the number the slower it movesif you don't want the compass and such showing when you take a picture, type tm <-- stands for toggle menu, type it again to restore the menus Be sure to press ~ again to exit the console before attempting to move the camera, controls won't work with the console active. getting in super close in live action tho, isn't possible under normal circumstances. Thanks for the heads up s'far. I was familiar with the tfc workaround; but didn't know the command to slow the camera's movement! That was a hassle (tip..tap..tap!TAP! TAP! as you try to get juuuust so far away for the screenshot! ) Any clues what causes the texture fade out when the camera gets within 1 scroll increment of returning to first person? & is there a method of decreasing the distance travelled with each zoom increment? Thanks again for the reply! the sucsm command will come in mega handy! ~Jack Burton ( ME! )
