Any reptile fans out there?

 

if so, what do you have?

i've got 4 ball pythons, 5 bearded dragons, a red tailed boa, 4 hog nose snakes, a corn snake, a ribbon snake, an iguana, 2 leopard geckos, 2 painted turtles, 1 yellow bellied cooter, 1 box turtle, 1 salcatta tortoise, a mali uromastixys, a monitor lizard, and a bunch of others i can't think of off the top of my head. I'll post pics of them in a bit if anybody is interested.

we used to have alot of reptiles.we had an iguana,a box turtle,a few snakes,and some skinks.but we ended up letting the skinks and snakes loose in our back yard so now there are skinks all over the area but we haven't seen any of the snakes.and we let the box turtle loose at my grandmoms place.and we gave the iguana away.

I've always wanted a snake but don't have the room for one (barely have the room for my pc :P ) dunno why a snake, just always been obsessed with them. You gotta love their skin aswell xD

 

Apart from the some arawak bloke in Guyana gave me an iguana once, albeit cooked in a stew o.O

I don't own any,but I think they're fasinating. My brother had some kind of a lizard for a while,but I don't remember what it was.

Spiders fasinate me also!

I want a snake, and as soon as I move into my dad's house I am getting one. (Got the vivarium and all)

 

In Adelaide we have a place called Scales and Tails. They sell deadly snakes and goannas and all sorts. They even have a crocodile in a huge cage (It is well looked after and is their personal pet. They are really nice people and they care so much for their animals)

I had a box turtle when I was a kid. I named her "Race car" (for the complete irony of it). Had her for quite a few years til my sister let her out the back door, never saw Race car again.

 

@josh900, Race car seemed to love tomato slices but she'd never eat them off of saucers, she'd pull it off then eat it. Was that normal or just her?

 

I never had one but I always liked chameleons. :wacko: I think it's their eyes.

I have had three Iguanas, right now I have a skink, She's really pretty actually..that's on in years, but still healthy.. No snakes, there are no snakes in Ireland, nor can they be legally imported in..

I want to get a bearded dragon, though...I like them..

mine does that too. i don't know if he's trying to drag it away as if to say 'mine' or maybe he is just backing up while trying to get a piece off of it, and it just gets dragged off his plate in the process.

 

there have been a few times when i had the box turtle and the tortoise in the outside pen and would throw in a few old tomatoes for them. the box turtle would grab one and carry it to the shelter and eat it there.
