KiiroGaming
Hey guys Im having issues with skyrim right now and need some help. I tried to start my skyrim from steam after going in and out testing some mods and then when i came to the "Besthesda" logo and then as soon as i see the Skyrim logo it boots me to desktop. ive tried removing and deleting the recently added mods but it still crashes. ive also tried the "audio" solution where u lower the quality of your speakers or headset and that didnt work. I tried the "Shadow settings" soultion too and put it to low but still nothing. I just got the game a few days ago and im tearing my hair out trying to fix this. SOMEBODY please know another solution ive searched forums and youtube and theirs doesnt seem to be anything to aid me. ~Kiiro
Georgiegril
The problem you are describing very often happens because you have an esp that is depending on an esm which is not loaded. That can happen if you download mods that require Dawnguard, for example, but it can happen with other mods too, or if you load order is not optimized. Especially as you describe that you were playing around adding and removing a bunch of mods, this seems worth investigation. Have you downloaded and run BOSS? It will generate a report which can help pinpoint errors such as missing esm files, and help get your mods in proper order.

Ive figured it out, my damnguard wasnt checked on in my load order and it was causing all the mods i needed dawnguard for were crashing my game, thx for telling me about BOSS and esp and esm, i just typed those into youtube and recieved a whole lesson on wat they are and how to fix crashes
