ryanmaidenfan
Hello everyone, first time posting on here as well as new to modding. Days ago, SKSE64 ran fine, except for a few ctds. Now, today it wont even launch at all. Does anyone here know what causes these issues? I'm a noob so...
c0ax599
Is it SKSE refusing to launch? Sure it's not Skyrim? Did you perchance install a oldrim mod? A bad mesh will cause the game not to start.
ryanmaidenfan
Nvm, I got it to work. Had to uninstall and delete EVERYTHING though. But it's working now. You don't need to concern yourself with this post. I'll let you guys know if anything major comes up.
ryanmaidenfan
:sad:Alright, its happening again. It is skse. I am making a wild guess, but I think it might be too many mods. I have different load order now, so ignore the screenshot. What do I do? It was working earlier

anjenthedog
not that you didn't already do this, but just in case... make sure Steam is running. Only reason I bring that up as a potential source is that I'm using Steam in offline mode, and when windows loads, you have to click a modal box (answering the paraphrased question "do you want to go online or play offline?") before Steam actually starts. Well, last night when I booted back to Windows 10, I forgot to deal with that before attempting to launch Skyrim (via skse64) and Skyrim didn't load. A couple of failed attempts and then I recalled the dependence on Steam, checked, and sure enough I hadn't dealt with Steam before attempting to launch the game. fwiw...
