About Load Order and MasterLists

Hello my friends.

I have a question.

I am using xEdit, LooT and WryeBash.

These 3 programs says everything is fine but i realized that wryebash shows orange some of my save's masterlist not the mods those i use.

When i come to save section and looked at my last save, on the masterlist section first 6 bars seem blue but rest of them are orange.

Is this situation a problem if it is what is the solution ?

This is my load order by the way.

1st - Does your game work?

... There are some mods and even DLC - Vanilla Skyrim that have " issues " / " flags " and it is best to leave them alone!

I know some MODS where the creator says - " DO NOT USE " X " to clean the file. You do the mod will not work. "

So, just because you have the ' flags ' .... if the game is working fine, leave them alone.

Orange color for WB means that the master files are out of order. When affecting the save file, the game usually corrects things as far as the ID numbers go. But there is always the chance that something may go wonky. You can manually rearrange the load order in WB to match what your save file has listed if desired. If you are noticing this change after having added a mod or two, it may be because LOOT sorted one of those mods in between where the colors change.

For the most part, it should be considered harmless if all you are doing is adding a mod.

As far as correcting master files order for files it is easier to use the "sort" function in SSEEdit. Just select the file run SSEEdit right click on the file and scroll down to "Sort Masters" It is not the masters that are out of order but that the file is reading them out of order.

Everything seems okey but i think i am missing something.

IsharaMeradin, I dont know if this is a wrong order which one ise true. I need some help about that.

wfandrews, As i know, your method is about mod's masterlist but my save file has wrong masterlist order.

Are the CTD's totally random or are you going somewhere / doing something specific things that cause it?

We may have to initiate the P.I.T.A. Protocol if needed?

Randomly, mostly in wilderness freeroam. What is P.I.T.A ?

Also did u see my screen shots ? Is it a problem ? How do you evaluate my screen shots ?

Yes, I saw your screen shot ... but 2/b honest ... I can see those " red " area a lot in various mods that work just fine.

P.I.T.A. Protocol is Pain In The A...

In that, we have to do the ' slow-mo ' trouble shooting.

So here is the first thing I would like you to do:

Use Loot or whatever program like that you have that will COPY your Skyrim Load order in total. and use the:

[ spoiler ] ( no spaces ) between the [ ] and the word. Paste your mod load order and close it with [ / spoiler ] , again no spaces. This will HIDE it and yet be easy to see when you click:

LOAD ORDER OF MODS HERE

The first thing we need to do is see if you have some mods that are not ' happy ' with each other.

Then if nothing obvious jumps out, then the P.I.T.A. Protocol will be invoked, in that you will have to turn off all your mods and load a clean new game. NO SAVED GAME. But we will go into specifics here when / if we get there.

Okay - OPEN CITIES.

I do know from very personal experience, that it's best NOT to activate this mod until you have been to ALL the cities, otherwise certain " ACTIVATION KEYS " will not engage. IE: the beheading at Solitude never happens and I had to do some keyboard commands to get certain NPC's and such to ' be there '. Also in Whiterun and so on, where there were certain actions / dialogs that took place upon entering.

So it's best to turn this specific mod on AFTER all cities have been visited and activated. As I also had Random CTD's when I came close to various cities ... as the " activation keys " could not / would not engage.

Basically I stopped using this mod .... it was just too much uncertainty and CTD's. Now also, the last time I tried this mod was just over a year ago ..... and have not gone back since then.

FNIS - Did you run the EXE before you started the game and have it ' initialize ' the actions that your mods are keyed to? I ask this, because earlier this week and few times in the past, I had users that " forgot " to do this.

Vokrii - Minimalistic Perks of Skyrim - Did you verify that you have any patches for this, as there is quite a list of them in a LINKED page.

The above, ( understand a quick view on my side ), would create / could create " random " CTD's when you are close to a city and / or activating a skill - perk or such.

Understand, again - this is just a quick view of MODS that could be problematic.
