Rupe213
So my Skyrim (non-Special Edition) is crashing on a completely random basis. After loading my save it could be anywhere from 30 seconds minimum, to about 45 minutes maximum. No certain area, no certain action taken place (although I did notice i tried to search a dragon corpse = crash. Reloaded game, searched said dragon's victim, crash, only consistency throughout) I have attached my modwatch list if anyone could look through it and identify any discrepancies. I recently switched over to MO2 after finding a forum of trash talking on Vortex (NMM) and it hasn't identified any problems. I also use LOOT as a contingency for Vortex's automatic sorting. Modwatch Plugins: https://modwat.ch/u/Rupe213/plugins Overall, I would just like to not have to painstakingly go through my mods one by one for who knows how long until I find the culprit, also seeing as how I'm currently deployed to Okinawa, the internet in these barracks is absolute booty, and I'm not trying to do a reinstall of the game and my the entirety of my mods. Thank you in advance for any support/assistance provided. *UPDATE* Tried playing again today, loaded the game ran around for a bit, and went and tried to interact with the corpse of the dragon's victim (as previously stated) and game crashed againn. Also have noticed, crashes occasionally when bringing up the map. I reinstalled SkyUI to no avail.
goranKONJ
i have same problem, even tho i have much less mods then you im getting random crash if i try to loot some body or crate, open world map, or just without reason when i run around, i am 90% sure that immersive creatures cause crash but when i uninstalled that mod game still crashes but much less then before. i have read a lot in past days about that and tried to fix the problem but with no luck. i even reinstalled game and all mods cleaned up everything that needed cleaning made memory patches tried all sort of bug fixes but crash still occurred. i tried to make bashed patch since that is recommended for immersive creatures but that didnt go well, first patch needed master that i didnt use then when i fix that enemies had messed up models and stuck in idle pose but they could run around. in my search for cure i found this so maybe you figure something out, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13608/?tab=forum&topic_id=6250591
Adipose
My Skyrim's been doing the same thing ever since I installed Win 10 in a new comp build. I even got rid of all my mods except for FNIS and opened a vanilla game. Still crashed right after I entered Helgen keep and attempted a fast maneuver to open a chest. I've no clue as to what's wrong. Adipose
goranKONJ
well since i was trying to fix my game in last 4 -5 days i finaly made a big progress, yesterday i decided to give a bashed patch another go try and so far my game didnt crashed not once i was playing like 4 -5 hours constantly and no crash, there is one chest in south shriekwind bastion north-east from Falkreath you can se town below from that spot, every time i open that chest my game crashes now it dont, it lags a bit but dont crash. so here is what i did if you want to try my steps i hope it help. i also use some bug fix mods dont know if they helped but before bashed patch game was crashing even with those but if you want to try them this is what i have installed: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50305?tab=description ; https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31255 ; also i use this it helps if u have infinite loading screans https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/464651. reinstall skyrim completly, make sure you delete everything just back up your skyrim folder with saved games from documents.2. i used both vortex and nnm in past but this time i used mod organizer, instal skse, wrye bash, loot, tes5edit quick auto clean, and make sure u launch them when needed from MO.3. backup your dawnguard, hearthfires, dragonborn, and update esm and esp and what ever you have by that name in skyrim/data directory because you will need to clean them and in case something go wrong you dont need to install whole game again. 4. so before you install any mods clean those from above with quick auto clean, if you check with loot it will say they need cleaning . then start installing mods, i suggest you check with loot after each installed mod if it needs cleaning, some bigger or less known mods dont even show in loot that they need cleaning but they are full of things that quick auto clean removes. 5. after you installed all your mods make a bashed patch i used this guide also there is how to make memory patch that i also use i suggest you use it to its stupidly easy. https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/wiki/beginners_guide6. i suggest you make a "save" folder in your \Documents\My Games\Skyrim folder and just past some saves from your backed up folder (that was what i did) i hope i didnt forget anything and i hope this will help you to. my pc is pretty old i3-2100 cpu and hd 6770 ati video card. good luck

Saggaris
This, as far as I'm concerned is what Bethesda games do... ever since Morrowind, there's an old saying from that time... Save often and save fresh.
