ENB Recommendations? Colorful/Not Dark

I've been wanting to try out some ENB's but I'm not familiar enough on ENBs to know what to look for. Up until now I've mostly been using an Outdated version of Ultimate Immersion ENB, tried the new one and didn't like it, re-downloaded the old one I used to use and it doesn't quite feel like it used to.

 

What I'm looking for is ENBs that help pop out color in a very fantasy-esque way. I'm not one for realism and gritty, dark or edgy ENBs. Nor am I a fan of dark places. A little darkness is alright, but I dislike when it's dark to the point where it's completely pitch black in areas, and I don't like using torches or candle/magelight spells, also (at least in my experience) the Brightness setting doesn't seem to work, I assume this is because using ENBs overrides this setting. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd recommend that you do a widenet search on "skyrim ENB" and then check out the associated youtube/etc videos that promo them. That way you can see for yourself what they look like. Most of the "bigger" names are available for both oldrim and SE, but if you want to focus on SE only, try searching on "Skyrim Special edition ENB"

 

in any case, there are a ton of videos showcasing ENBs either solely or as part of wider mod showcases like the myriad of MXRMods videos.

 

I spent about six months wathcing videos (not all the time!) before I finally broke down and bought Skyrim last fall, and I highly recommend doing at least a bit of mod reviewing via youtube. It gives you some basis for judging the mods you encounter at Nexus (not to say you should only use videos as sources, but it does provide some good background.

 

What someone thinks is "good" is subjective.
