Must have utility plug-ins

Hello MWers,

I haven't played the game in about 8 months, but a buddy and I were talking and he had mentioned MW. It got me itching to play again, but it has been a long time and there are a TON more plug-ins now than when I had quit playing. I am looking for a list of those "must-haves" that offer UTILITY, no uber weapons or armor. I used to play with the regen, Dorathy, and manaquin plug-ins (that I remember). I have read that the Personal Mobile Base is the new home of choice so I will be looking into that. I am also going to be checking out the Pretty Faces mods, which look really sweet. Any others you can recommend??

I whole-heartedly agree with "Atmospheric Sound Effects" - all four of them.

I would also suggest "No Cliff Racers". It could be considered a "cheat" mod but I find the game soooooo much more enjoyable without them. The version I run allows you to remove them totally, spawn less often, or you can make them less aggressive - your choice. Very nice.

Does the Morrowind Optimizer count as a plug-in? Gotta have that.

There is also a dandy little plug-in, the exact name of which escapes me just now, that re-textures hundreds of items in the game. It doesn't change gameplay in any way or any one item DRAMATICALLY, it just improves the overall detail level of just about everything (scenery, architecture, etc.) in the game. If it sounds like something you'd be interested in and have trouble finding it for download let me know, as I'd be happy to find it for you.

I found the plug-in you wanted and would e-mail you the file directly, but even compressed, it's HUGE.

The file is called "Albedo's Landscape Remixer" and can be found here:

I think he linked his screenshots on his web site in reverse however, as the "Before" screen shots look like what I'm rendering now and are obviously far more textured than the "after" shots.

I'll e-mail you the link, it's posted here for anyone else who might want it.
