gman517
How do I do this. in edit menu I see "Copy Render", "Paste Render" and "Cut Render" What I want to do is copy everything that works from a test esp file to a main esp file say after testing a feature. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Mktavish
This tool can copy over most things I think ... I'm not very well versed with it though.https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/637/ This is the tool I use when I want to combine .esp's together ... it's fairly straight forward ... but I suggest do some testing before depending on it , and always make back ups before merging.https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/5104 If your comp is fairly new and capable ... I think its possible to run multiple instances of the geck at once. Which I think you need to change something in one of it's .ini files first .Then you can just copy paste stuff from one to the other (helps to have 2 monitors)And remember you can use keyboard shortcuts to copy/paste/cut .... because a lot of text fields like scripts I think ... won't show a mouse right click option after highlighting. And in case you are not aware ... ctrl + c = copyctrl + v = pastectrl + x = cut And then there is the way I usually do it ... just make text files for scripts , and take pictures of pertinent windows / tabs to be used , or just write stuff down on paper or a text file. Hope that helps . Add edit : This page tells how to run multiple instances of the geck down in the "GECK INI Settings" section. https://geckwiki.com/index.php/Bethsoft_Tutorial_GECK_Setup
