ame11iea
i need to do a world hook up between the exterior proudspire door and an interior proudspire cell that i've refurbished, except i have no idea how to link the portals between the doors. i've tried the render process in the teleport tab of the door's function window, the whole typical thing, but i cant seem to get it to work. plus i have no idea where in tamriel or the solitudeworld where the door to proudspire is. is there an already present portal blocking the way into the original proudspire? how do i do this? (simple answers please, im currently a creation kit noob thats learning the ropes)
KiwiHawkNZ
Kia ora this site might be of help to you mate http://www.creationkit.com/Category:Tutorials specialy this page http://www.creationkit.com/Bethesda_Tutorial_World_Hookup I'm not a big fan of answers like this that tell you to sodd off and read some place but they explain far betterthan I could how it's done, first off tho you need to find where your door is in the world. In the Cell view window select tamriel and scroll down to Solitude and find the area that has where your door is,if your changing a cell/room ot place that is in game you can open that in CK hit M to make sure markers are showinggo to the yellow door marker double click it and answer yes, that;ll pop you to the outside door What I do (probley the long way) I double click the outside door to get to teleport tab move tha dialog box out of the wau a bitgo to the cell I'm linking into so I can see the door I need then click the select in render window and sleck the white marker on the doorclose the dialog box and move the yellow marker in the room ture it a place etc, then double click the marker, pop to the other doorand move postion etc that maker. Hope that helps
Anduniel
Have you looked at the way the existing two doors are set up? I would start there. The front door, and the back door downstairs. Also there is a Bethesda video on this, here: Look about 5 min into the video.
