I looked into the internet too but no way to find exactly my case. I didn t see exactly the same one here too. I explain. i modded my game pretty much and i had graphical problems. I decided to remove them all to begin on a fresh start. But i forgot what were the original folders and the ones i modified. I decided to uninstall totally the game. A fresh game for a fresh start.I created a new game so i can get all the files scripts, textures etc...But in my data folder wi^hich is in steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/data, there s only interface, strings, videos, dawngard.bsa,uptdate.bsa, and some others. but no textures, scripts etc...I did the installation 2 times again and no way. i created a bunck of new games and nothing.I need all these folders to modd the game again. At which point in the game have i to go to get thoses folders ? I save and stop a little bit after the dragon attack in helgen, a few mintues after i got my head saved. Blaufrosch
Hi, if i get you right... your original textures, scripts, meshes aso usually are are packed in those bsa-files. If you install mods, some of them come with loose files, some packed with a bsa. Just copy&paste the folders (if present) of the mod and the esp into your data folder, or simply use a modmanager. Or if you need the original files for modding by yourself, then you have to extract the bsa's. Hope i could help.

I have to install SKYRE. In purpose to do that, i need to transfert all files . pex ( if a remember right) to data/script. The first time i did it, all went well. there were data/script etc.... But this time there s not script folder. I can t drop the .pex files in the data just like that. i need the right folder to do it.i ve read that the script folder creates when you play your first play and save. i tried but nothing happened. I m loosing my mind. I work a lot during the week and this skyrim is my little moment of relax. I m losing too much time looking for the resolution but im just not good at infomatics. (Thanks to the modders its not so complicated to install them :),. they do a really great work ). Thanks for trying to help. i apreciate
Blaufrosch
Hm...i dont use SKYRE, but i'd read the description now. Did you followed the install guide (install script extender and uncapper first)? The script extender come with pex files and when you install as described (select all included and copy&paste to skyrim folder), you should have the scripts folder. There is no need for you to copy&paste the loose files, just copy&paste the whole folder. Alternative, you might create the scripts folder manualy, but there's also a folder named source included. The pex files are in the scripts folder, the psc files are in the scripts\source folder.
Georgiegril
What you need to do, I think, is copy the entire scripts folder from the skse download file and place it in your data folder. You will need to install both skse and the community uncapper. Just follow the instructions on the mod's description page, they are very detailed.
