Nagadta
Hello, Whenever I draw a weapon, my character enters a T-Pose.I have a mod causing a permanent T-Pose to NPCs and my character, and an other causing T-Poses to my character whenever I don't draw a weapon. What are the mods that might cause T-Pose and how to prevent it?
IsharaMeradin
Running FNIS to ensure that custom animations can be used in the game is a good place to start.
fore
There are a couple of very simple rules. Everything "most likely", which means like 99% of all cases:When you have a general t-pose (player and NPCs) then you have a "bad" behavior fileWhen you have t-pose during one animation then this animation is "bad""Bad" means one out of 3 things:Behavior file was created during an FNIS generation with error or warnings (YES, FNIS warnings also cause t-pose most of the times)Behavior or animation file was there during FNIS generation, but was removed after generation (e.g. an MO overwrite was deleted, or files were moved around)Behavior or animation file is for the "wrong" Skyrim (from SSE when you run Oldrim, from Oldrim when you run SSE)
Nagadta
Thanks for your help. I played without any T-Pose just now, so I enabled a dozen of mods, ran FNIS and again, not any warning! But, the moving animation without drawn weapon was a T-Pose. If I understand what you're saying, it's likely that the mod dictating my walking animation without drawn weapon is for the "wrong" Skyrim, right? (since I didn't really undertand the concept of Override, I removed everything in it first)
fore
I didn't say Override, I said Overwrite. But you don't need to understand if you don't use MO. If you only have problems with single animation then you should run FNIS once with the HKX compatibility check patch. If you still don't have any FNIS warning then you probably have installed a bad animation replacer mod. These are mods that only replace vanilla animation, and come usually without plugin. Which mod manager do you use btw?
