Interactive Roleplay Mod for Oblivion

What I am suggesting is that even with mods, the dialogue and character social gestures throughout the game are still extremely repetitive and teaming with glitches, and the game lacks almost any emotional integration of your character into plots. Basically, you have nothing to do with them except, you were the one that saved the day, or occasionally failed somebody, or glitched out the quest so that it could never end. I think the game is really lacking some social variety and roleplaying drama incorporated with your character, as well as character development. I think it would be really cool if there was a mod that would allow you to actually hear your character's voice, have his personality develop, and through his personality develops he begins to maintain a higher status among Cyrodiil, i.e. everything you do in the game has a consequence, and as you become more socially experienced you gain more options. I.E. more quests based on your character his actions, and personality (good/evil). Virtually, it would be awesome if there were more real cut scenes as opposed to the half-decent pre-fighting dialogues (esp. the slow scene in Shivering Isles when a Duke retaliates against Sheogorath) If possible, it would be great to have some of these things replaced with dramatic cut scenes that would make the game far more interactive, especially scenes that emotionally affect your character and his/ her status throughout the game. Also, taunts such as calling people cur and things like that might be a fun addition to the game. also I would like to inquire if there are any disposition mods because the disposition thingy in the game sucks. Anyway, these are some of my ideas for a mod that immerses your character with the idea of the story more completely. If you have any suggestions, ideas comments, plz feel free to add. It would be cool if someone could take something similar to this idea up, or if there are any existing mods similar to this idea plz inform me.

"Hear yourself speak" in dialogue is incredibly impractical, but in-combat taunts are a definite possibility. The only real way to create more emotionally-involved quests is to create more quests, as well as somehow setting up enough of a backstory for emotional involvement. For example, Gates to Aesgaard starts when you receive a letter from an old (and moderately former) friend, complete with a page of backstory on your relationship with said friend (who the mod itself introduced). Since said friend disappeared, you're still dumped right into the thick of the quest. Quite frankly, I found the letter rather jarring. Also, quests dependent on one's character's alignment are improbable, since no modder will go through all the trouble of making a quest only to stop half the characters from using it. Then you need to factor in a logical spread of reputation instead of one's infamy increasing from doing a Thieves' Guild quest where nobody caught him. "Half-decent pre-fighting dialogues" are also hard enough to do on their own using Oblivion's system, and tend to get in the way more than anything, so most modders tend to stick to dialogue outside of game-mode. Furthermore, most people interested in Oblivion roleplaying generally go about it with a "Make your own character" mentality, so this would severely restrict their characters' motivations going into quests and their personality could even "develop" totally differently than what the players were thinking when they performed the actions. The only way I can really think of dealing with this is a complex questionaire at the beginning of the game, which would somehow be implemented for countless dialogues. Creating emotional investment for the player is hard, and there are so many different characters you see in Oblivion that forcing any one character into one of a set of different "personality" archetypes is likely to just turn out weird. Generally, non-evil characters will simply not do evil quests, regardless of their open-ness. Reputation is hard enough to script when you have an incredibly basic system like Oblivion's fame/infamy.

There are two quite good Persuasion Overhauls, though.

i was expecting someone asking about "fable2" mod for oblivion...yes the role play is limited...but if u consider the overall of the game itself...its a huge work...and like (th) post before me said...it would be too hard to completly change every aspect of the game in that way... but if u want more role play...why dont you go take a walk outside and interact whit ppl and go the dep. buy your self a beer or something....(just playing man)... it would be realy awsome to see the role play get to the next level in oblivion !-)

Yeah yeah yeah, but if we can put new animations into the game, couldn't we put videos? cutscenes? something of the sort? and then somehow have these cutscenes organized into the game / new quests? Also, is it impossible to mod old quests?
