pick out what ever powers you want to use and then make sure you have enough enchantment points on the item to do it...

also you can only use the powers you have yourself.so if there is a power you want to use then you must have the spell for it first.

for example if you wanted a sword to attack with 5 fire damage and 5 frost damage

you must have both a fire and a frost spell in your inventory(not scroll)

also the amount of charge on a soul gem depends on the soul and the gem itself

for example a leeser or petty gem(full) usually has about 10-20 charge points

where as a grand soul can range from 100-400 charge points.

so to norrow everything down, you must have

1)big enough soul gem(or strong soul)

2)enough points on the actual item to create what you plan to make

3)the spells to be able to make the effects you disire

oh yeah 4)lots of money...no sorry.....loads and loads of money!!!

I think he was talking about having more than one sort of spell/enchantment in an item.

You may add the spells you want to have in your item; but you got to know the spells, or else they won't show up in the menu inventory. Notice that the more enchantments you do, the more enchantment points are used...

Okay, now Sanobia has told you it's the Daedric Tower Shield I assume we can lock the thread. If there's anything else you want to add PM me and I'll re-open it.
