I'm in full support of this, but wouldn't their official forums be the place to get them to see this? Or is it against their forum rules?

There is one on the Beth forums, and it maxed out on its 3rd page. I wasn't aware of it at the time when I made this one. I expect this one to grow to that size very soon though, considering how fast its growing.

Signed.

Will buy the expansion pack if it comes with a construction set.

I'm both horrified and intrigued by this idea. On one hand, I'd rather not have to pay for it, while on the other hand, this will assure more people buy the expansion. (And make expansion mod compatibility not as important.) But I really hope they don't delay the CS just to pack it with an expansion.

The way I see it, most people who mod are people who like the game, and if you like the game, you're likely to buy the expansion. Now, I also don't like the idea of being forced into buying the expansion to get the CS, but I like even less what that would imply for how long we'd have to wait.

Signed, not buying this game until a CS is released simply because the CS tends to increase the life of the game by a very significant amount. I'm hoping that I'm not alone in this position since the longevity of the game over years doesn't seem to be as important as the initial sales to some companies lately. Even a few thousand people, might be enough to mean something.

Although the tools that the community may make, may come close to being able to replicate aspects of the CS, it'll never be as easy to use, or as capable at modding as an official CS. An example of this would be comparing Fable Modding to TES modding... Few people realize that there is ANY fable modding, mostly because what can be created with those community created tools doesn't end up being so game changing. Likewise, and going back to my first point, nobody is buying Fable any more, and most havn't played the copy they did buy for well over 2 years now. Can't really say the same thing about Oblivion, can you.
