FoolWhoCantCount Posted October 3, 2012 Share Posted October 3, 2012 (edited) **POSSIBLE EARLY MAIN QUEST SPOILERS** **EDIT: THIS HAS BEEN SOLVED** Recently any NPC who tries to leave Whiterun, instead of using the main gate like usual, will try to exit via the Underforge entrance under the Skyrforge. The thing is I haven't done the Companions questline (in any playthrough) for quite a while so I haven't gained access to the Underforge yet, therefore there isn't an entrance way yet, therefore all the NPCs gather into a cluster at the stone wall where it would be. This becomes a major problem when any quest gets involved, this includes but isn't limited to at least two main quests, one where you have to meet Irileth and the guards of Whiterun at the Western Watch Tower to kill your first dragon; and another where you meet Delphine at Riverwood to discuss you being Dragonborn. I pick out these two quests because they happened on different characters, one where I started the Companions questline and another where I have not. I managed to fix the Delphine situation by using the command "moveto player", but I don't see this being a solution to the Western Watch Tower quest as there are several guards that would probably need to be moved as well as Irileth (I don't fancy taking on a dragon by myself on expert difficulty with "Resilient Dragons" installed at the level I am now). This also won't be a permanent fix. Has anybody got any advice or help they can offer and if so I will be very grateful. Extra Info:1. This seemed to have started happening when I started the Companions questline again on one character, but I could be wrong. Also, this has became a problem on another save where I haven't started it. 2. I also tried the commands "resetai" and also "disable then "enable" when I was trying to fix Delphine but they didn't fix the issue. 3. I am not using any mods that affect the AI of NPCs globally, Although I have recently installed "UFO" (Ultimate Follower Overhaul) and "Convenient Horses". I installed these in my playthrough of the character that started the Companions questline. I also have "Alternate Start - Live Another Life" installed but I have had that for a while and it has not caused this problem or any like it so far. It was quite simply a mod called "City Shacks" that altered the Nav mesh around the main gate of Whiterun, it's quite a small mod so I really didn't expect it to be the problem.
