Georgiegril
Nice. You should be able to get nice graphics going. Have you had a look at these: Geforce Tweak Guide--especially for Nvidia Inspector settings.STEP-- I don't use it myself, but I have read through it and learned a lot by doing that. Some people swear by it. That said, many people have issues with FXAA and you may do better using the MSAA that comes with your driver. If you haven't yet updated, the newest drivers are working well for most people. Also If you don't have Nvidia Inspector yet, I would definitely get that, you can make much more adjustments than with the default Nvidia Interface. I think the Geforce Guide explains the Inspector settings pretty well. Also, Ambient Occlusion causes problems for many, especially if you are trying to use both. Oddly, Vurt's Skyrim Flora Overhaul has his link to his Nvidia Settings, which may help you as well. (scroll down to the part "some recommendations...") Plus his mod does wonders to make Skyrim look awesome. There are all kinds of ENBs out there, also RCRN, etc. My guess it that is because 1) taste in what looks good is highly specific to the individual and 2) How these mods affect you game depends greatly on the variables of each individual computer. If you look around, you may find the one that works for you. In any case, the more you understand the various settings you have control over, through your driver interface and .ini files (and the game settings of course) the better you can get your game looking. You definitely can do better than whitewash or vanilla!
volnaiskra
Look inside the injector files. If there's something called "weird steam hack", set it to true and see if that solves the problem

Staind716
Personally I'm a big ENB fan (obviously) and you should give one of those a shot. There are so many great ones on Nexus you are sure to find something that fits your particular tastes. You should also try using SMAA for your antialiasing instead of MSAA or FXAA. SMAA has the quality of 8x MSAA and the performance of FXAA so it's really the best of both worlds. I wouldn't play without it myself. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16233
tyetan
Ye tried various things all looks so good now :) especially with ENB :) and the WATER mod actually seems to have taken effect too :) which now looks amazing with the SMAA ENB too :) Thanks guys :) i now have it looking like those guys posting ther screenies do! :D Edited October 10, 2012 by tyetan
FiftyTifty
Actually, I've found that Realistic Lighting + Imaginator can do what those injectors do, but with no performance loss. And yeah, I second SMAA if you want AA. Even it's low preset improves on the aliasing with very little performance loss.
