Fryingpanman Posted October 3, 2012 Share Posted October 3, 2012 I recently bought oblivion off steam (two weeks ago) and I've been sort of messing around with mods etc so far and about a week ago I encountered a grey screen underneath my HUD. All in all, I couldn't see anything in the game apart from my HUD and this grey screen, And the sounds of the game. At the time, I didn't know what was causing this so I just took off a few mods and everything went fine and dandy, But it was only today that I realised it was because HDR was enabled. I've had a search round and I am yet to find a way to fix this problem, I have tried typing 'cal' into the console to no success. If anyone knows how to get rid of this screen when HDR is enabled I'd be really grateful if you could help me. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lanceor Posted October 8, 2012 Share Posted October 8, 2012 It's possible that your graphics card can't handle complex lighting in HDR mode. This is especially true if you're using some sort of integrated graphics chip instead of a graphics card. If you'd like us to analyse it further, run a DXDiag (Start Menu > Run > type dxdiag.exe ) and save the information somewhere. Copy and paste the information in a spoiler tag.
