How does moderation work here on nexus + I need help

Hey.

 

Sorry if it's not the right place, but I can't really find anything that fits the topic better.

 

A simple question. How does moderation work here on nexus when a mod is reported? Does it assign the case immediately to a particular moderator? I'm asking, because I reported a very serious issue regarding blatant plagiarism and uploading of unreleased/leaked/stolen content. Over 26 hours have passed and I didn't receive any response. Meanwhile users could (in fact did) and still can download content that was never meant to be public, and could even potentially be harmful. Is it possible that the assigned moderator is simply unavailable?

If that's not it, then maybe reports (first very simple and then a followup with a lot more information) didn't work for some reason? Unfortunately, there is no ticket system and I can't check whatever has happened with the report. I got to admit I realized I've been using beta theme, so maybe something is wrong there with ajax? Or maybe that reaction time is normal here? I've got to admit, I've never had to deal with anything like that here, so I wouldn't know.

I seriously need some help with that. So if any moderator can and is willing to help me, please, contact me for more details (posting it here would be a violation of rules).

The user that uploaded that did know what they're doing. They've been warned very clearly not to do that.

When a file is reported it is added to a queue in our report centre. The we aim to get through these reports as quick as possible, however this can often take a while depending on a few factors:

  • How many of our Community Managers and/or volunteer moderators are available over the time period.
  • The complexity/quantity of cases that are ahead of yours in the queue.
  • The details supplied in your report. If they are lacking proof or require investigation to confirm the claims this can take a little while.

If you ever feel that a report has been missed, feel free to contact a either me, BigBizkit or one of the moderators via PM and we'll have a look at what is happening with it.
