InsaneRuffles
Hello, I am looking for a mod that makes enemy scaling/difficulty more immersive without stagnating the game. I don't mind some scaling, but hate when everything scales with you the entire time. I prefer a more immersive experience where both high and low level enemies are in the world, and where low level bandits aren't just completely harmless later on. It would also be cool if there was some "dynamic" feel, where I wipe out a camp and later come back to find out it is now infested with spiders or something. Basically, I don't want the game world to feel like its purposely leveling things up with me, but at the same time I want more challenging gameplay as well. Something like a dynamic spawning system that creates a story instead of just throwing enemies that are the same level at you. If you've ever played Kenshi, that's close to what I'm looking for. Levels (known as skills) in Kenshi feel more natural and I don't really think "Oh, he's just a high level, avoid," I think, "Oh, that's f*#@ing scary. Run." Any help is appreciated, thank you! Edit: I'm also already using combat mods, so compatibility is important. Edited September 11, 2019 by InsaneRuffles
anjenthedog
Not that this is an answer to your query for "a mod" but Afaik, most dungeons respawn after some period of time, so you can clear a castle or fort or dungeon one day and a few days or week later (game time) it's fully reinfested. Even when the map says it's cleared. For some tougher opponents, I'd suggest one of the "wenches" mods. there's one (not sure if on Nexus or at LL) that requires you to speak with wenches in taverns and ask about wenches that have been kidnapped (whcih you are then to save from a life of slavery). The groups you have to do battle with are usually populated by quite a few characters that aren't simple to beat, although as the dragon, and if you have a bunch of neato augmentations like using multiple rings or overpowered weapons, or you've stacked you character with higher skills or powers (magic, stamina, health) than normal, you're pretty well humped for real competition. I can take out a dragon with a few hits of my sword. And I can go berserker on groups of a dozen wirrors and slaughter them all. "SL Defeat" is another option, but well, that's not family friendly Nexus content see LL One console thing you might try is forcing your health, or magic, or stamina to a lower value than you current have. Hope someone comes up with that mod, but til then...
