  1. I would make sure that all of your drivers are up-to-date, and then look at the settings in your skyrimprefs.ini file Look under [General] and [imageSpace]. If you see "bDoDepthOfField=1" then set the "1" to "0" Hopefully that solves your problem. If you have no mods, then it's probably some setting you accidentally toggled on/forgot to disable. You can also turn down the brightness through the in-game menu.
  2. Nope, no puzzlement here  Eh, I suppose it would be easy to jump to a conclusion like: "Because body modification mods allow anonymous perverts on the net to objectify the female human body in a fictitious setting, thus avoiding social condemnation," or "It is one amusing result of hyper-sexualization in society influencing people to put themselves or others (or even their game avatars) in unrealistic sexual relationships," or "It is one small manifestation of rising sexual awareness amongst our youth linked to an increased focus on body-monitoring, beautification, and unrealistic sexual expectations." Perhaps all of those things and many more (Mum's the word) are true to some extent, but another truth is that mods in video games that alter aesthetics, specifically relating to the human body, and thus the female human body, have always been popular, and it's not just to appeal to the perverts and misogynists out there. I think that such mods allow for freedom of expression and are tools that allow us to break certain social constraints in a harmless way. Self-representation is a very important component in RPGs in Skyrim; just look at all of the mods that allow for increased character customization. As such, ask yourself: how many people create sexually unattractive avatars, unless of course they are purposefully trying to create something ugly? Given the chance, a lot of people would jump at the opportunity to modify their bodies (or the bodies of their sexual partners) in such a fashion. It's just another facet of our materialistic, over-sexed society making itself known. Combine that with the typical sexual immaturity present in young adults.... Sorry for getting a bit wordy. Anyway I view big titty pics as generally harmless, and amusing. As far as psychological reasons, I'm no expert, but I recognize the presence of multiple factors, not the least being sexual repression or exploitation. Blah Blah Titty Titty Bang Bang. Forget everything I just said, I'm just bored. Pelinal did nothing wrong. Thanks for reading. Damn, almost made it without going back to edit. Fook.
  3. ^^ What he said. If you just want a list of the most endorsed/downloaded "Model and Texture" mods for SSE, then you can perform a simple search on the nexus easily enough: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/categories/29/ Just as mentioned, though, it all comes down to a matter of taste when it comes to aesthetic improvements. Take your time and find what suits you. It is not a given that you will like a widely-endorsed mod more than an obscure one that might otherwise go unnoticed. On that note though, popular mods are more likely to include patches for others, so don't worry (at least initially) about what goes with what. There's almost always a work-around.
  4. Hear, hear! Why install all those graphic overhaul mods if you don't stop to enjoy the scenery every once in awhile? Lately, I've been adding mods that encourage and reward exploration and dungeon-delving. It's been a fun ride.
  5. Yeah, I can see how it might grow on you, even if it isn't appreciated at first by the user. I won't argue that the texture isn't unique. Sorry that I couldn't help you out; I still have no idea if the textures are part of a larger texture pack, or if it is from a mod not available here on the Nexus.
  6. The textures sort of make the glass globes look like rubber dodge-balls XD (sorry, just my unwanted opinion). I don't recognize them at all, but they aren't the Rustic, Revamped, or 4k Retextured replacers. Looks like it could be some really obscure or custom mod, but no clue here.
  7. Unless I am very much mistaken, the file that you are looking to replace is "thicket01.dds." EEKs Renthal Flora Collection adds a new mesh and texture for thickets. There are also many Oldrim mods that replace that specific file. Insignificant Object Remover also offers an option to remove the ugly little things, but I suggest leaving them alone if you are using IOR with Skyrim Flora Overhaul, or you may get even uglier results.
  8. Hmm, not sure. I mean, they are just textures, it should be pretty simple. Maybe you could try manually deleting the conflicting files in Pfuscher's 2020 Parallax (after performing a backup, of course) and then re-compare with the other replacer you are using? I think that might help you identify the problem faster. Assuming that your second ivy replacer covers everything that 2020 does, they should show up. If you instead see vanilla textures, something is obviously wrong. Make sure that the mod is enabled in your MO, and that you have downloaded any updates/patches specified by the mod author. The latter shouldn't be necessary if Pfuscher's mod is the only conflict, buy hey, it doesn't hurt to check. Anyway, let us know if it works. Hopefully, you've already figured things out.
  9. Anything below 80 c is within normal parameters, especially for Nvidia; warm, but not blazing hot. A temp below 70 c would definitely be ideal, I agree. @SorinAlin24 You're well within the safe range for your processor, nothing to worry about.
  10. For that kind of stressful load, that sounds ok to me? I don't know what kind of rig you have, but it sounds impressive if what you say is true. You come here to show off? XD I feel like that if I opened up your PC, I'd find Sonic running on a hamster wheel.
  11. "If I move my mouse even slightly to the left the game crashes without fail." That's an oddly specific problem lol. All of your drivers are up-to-date, yeah? Speaking seriously, though: I've had trouble in the past with Immersive Citizens when using it in conjunction with city overhauls and other mods that add buildings or other static objects to the world-space, and I see that you are using all of these together: Immersive Citizens JK's Skyrim Civil War Checkpoints Immersive Patrols Trees and Cities Man Those Borders Skyrim Better Roads Sofia Lanterns of Skyrim These are the mods that I recognized; I haven't used them all, and I don't know of any specific compatibility issues between them, but I DO see how they could interfere with one another. No idea what others you might have that might be dirty/incompatible with your overhaul mods, but I note that you have many that alter cities, their environs, and their npc inhabitants. I'm not savvy enough to recognize the problem or provide specific instructions concerning load order, but I would definitely try disabling the mods above one by one (and any others you remember installing before your new playthrough) before anything else. Anyway, good luck and I hope someone can give you better advice. Cheers.
  12. Though I am not an ELFX user, our rigs are similar and the fps drop from being near certain light sources is nowhere near as severe for me. I believe this is largely due to using the mod ENB Light (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22574) and disabling [COMPLEXFIRELIGHTS] under the [EFFECTS] section of the ENB settings. I also lowered my shadow map resolution in the SkyrimPrefs.ini file under the 'Display' section for the sake of performance. I don't know how much this information will help you out, but here are mods that I'm using that are related to this topic (in their current load order): Relighting Skyrim (near the top) Rudy HQ - More Lights for ENB Luminosity (near the very bottom, just before ENB Lights) ENB Lights (including the necessary patches, near the very bottom after all other lighting mods) I currently use Cathedralist's ENB with the matching weather mod.
  13. This has worked for some people: Close Steam (right click on the system tray icon and choose exit) Go to C:\Program Files (x86)or wherever your steam folder is installed Go to Steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/Skyrim Delete (or move to desktop to avoid issues if it does not work) the SkyrimPrefs.ini file Open Steam and go to : Library > Skyrim > Right Click > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game cache It should download the missing file, and hopefully allow you to play. EDIT: You might actually want to skip ahead and try step 5 first before moving or deleting any files. If the problem isn't due to incompatible/broken mods or corrupted files and no offered solution works, the only thing I can think of is that either your file path related to your mod organizer is incorrect, or maybe you have a separate program that deals with memory allocation that Skyrim doesn't agree with somehow. Anyway, good luck to you. If worst comes to worst, I suppose you might have to delete everything and re-download the game files; I hope it doesn't come to that.
  14. Banished Gods, it's difficult to find an original female outfit on here that isn't also skimpy! A lot of them look like they were ripped straight from a Korean MMO (probably because they were). I wanted to add some options that were different from those suggested above, here's what I found: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9088 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/33939 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/14543 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18911 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20878
