greedfall [Mod Request] Hide Helmet/Hat

If I'm missing something in the options that already does this, then I apologize, but after scouring the options I couldn't find anything. Would it be possible to make a mod that hides helmets/hats? I'd rather not just take the pieces of gear off.

It's funny how sometimes you don't realize how much something matters until you can't do it, lol. I would use hide helmet in games where I couldn't hot key equipment and just easily remove and equip a helmet with a button. Now that I can't do either (especially given the fugliness of the hats) it bothers me to no end. And I know the hats are appropriate for the setting and all that but no... just no. They're not for me.

 

Whoever makes this mod will be a legend, haha

I tried to do that by replacing hat models with random stuff, it dissapears, but leaves your character half bald.

I understand why you would want to disable helmets, but why do you wanna disable Hats? There are some amazing Hats in the game

I found a way to disable Helmet and Hat and keep their hair, but it's also disabled for NPCs and ..... they're all bald

Personally I'm just not a fan of hats myself and that's why I want to disable them, to answer a previous question. Anyway that's awesome that progress is being made on finding a way to do it :D. Glad I'm not the only one that wanted the option.

And it is as you said SEED3733, it removes the hats from other NPCs but makes them bald. I'm wondering if Spiders just never added hairstyles to those NPCs, because it was never intended for them to have their hats/helms hidden.
