luddemann
@CelestialPaladin: Yes, heavy armor sets will be included in later versions. We are however limited because there arent many heavy armors from Witcher. Yes, we will use those shoulder pads:http://i426.photobucket.com/albums/pp350/bamsemisbruker/Utennavn_zps9b543390.pnghttp://i426.photobucket.com/albums/pp350/bamsemisbruker/Untitled-1_zps9dc3ebc8.jpghttp://i426.photobucket.com/albums/pp350/bamsemisbruker/Utennavn_zpsdaccebbe.png As for the color of Julianos armor: Its seems to be the normal texture with some gold trimming. No bandits will have gold trimming, Maybe an ebony replacer will have it. As of yet, only Tullius have gold trimming. If I ever make yarl armors, they will have as well. I will not use Actus' gold trimmed texture because I think mine is superior.
Witcher5688
For ebony, the dark coat of plates was planned. Nice armor with dark texture-> fits perfect :DBtw ludd do we need some of this for later stuff? :)http://www7.pic-upload.de/12.11.13/7gqahm2pfd.jpghttp://www7.pic-upload.de/12.11.13/dm6grd8hg1bq.jpghttp://www7.pic-upload.de/12.11.13/ywlfn1co5p32.jpg Edited November 12, 2013 by Witcher5688
luddemann
That is a nice armor. I dont like the fleur de lis on the chest though. And they dont seem like they are a part of the bump map. The blue can easily be replaced.
CelestialPaladin
I was wondering if you guys have the texturing skills to make heavy medieval plate armors into a silver color. Here are examples. http://www.wassonartistry.com/armor.php?w=gothic http://www.wassonartistry.com/armor.php?w=late15thcent Edited November 13, 2013 by CelestialPaladin
Witcher5688
Eventually a new normal map with "wrong" settings can add a shiny look? :D
Fenriks
Eventually a new normal map with "wrong" settings can add a shiny look? :D Or you could play with the settings in the BSLightingShaderProperty in nifscope: Set the Emissive Color to light gray, higher the glossines and the specular strength. And maybe add a shiny specular map.
CelestialPaladin
I don't know how to use nifscope. Btw here is a plate armor mod that has a silver appearance. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32275/? You guys can do what this guy did? Fenriks
@CelestialPaladin Well, I definitely can't create such great textures as this guy but the 'shiny effect' seems doable. For me, it really depends on the textures that are already given, because I can only work with existing textures. I lack the skill of creating new textures. Fenriks
Looks great, very suitable for a mercenary or a higher level bandit  Btw, do you have any plans for elven armors or mage robes?
