Under Armor

There's no way to add aditional slots. It should however be possible to script certain items to equipt themselves once you unequipt whatever was in their slot. I gave this a lot of though myself and thought it would be nice to be able to use different kinds of equiptable underwear for my HGEC toon.

Bethesda didnt' tell me if it was possible to modify the construction set to add additional slots (Biped Objects)

They just more or less ignored me on that accord.. I'll find out eventually though :P

Maybe Crossing the Morrowind/Oblivion Construction Set maybe? There are several things we'll need to find out though.

1. How the Construction Set was made

2. What Programming Language it uses

3. Where the Biped objects section is :P

EDIT:

There are mods which allow you to wear 10 rings instead of 2, I dont know where to find them, I haven't created them because I suck badly at modding.

However, you may want to make the clothing, and then make it take up one of the ring slots?.

Well actually if there is a mod that makes it like 10 rings or whatever it doesnt really need a new slot. i THINK it is possible to just make the underarmor, and examine every other armor how much it pertrudes outside of the body and stuff and just make it blipe under a ring slot. I think if you make some upper armor and make it blipe on the pants area, all it will do it take off your pants and put it over your upper body. You need to open a ring nif and just replace all the texture and mesh with an underarmor that will not show through most vanilla armor. It will act as a ring, and nif scope will say its a ring, however all the stuff will actually just be put outside of that ring slot. If this makes sense, i know it does to me, it is more than possible. You just gatta use your imagination to work with what is avaliable. Heck, if you want to make it closer to the upper body so you have less work to do to compare to where it is located on your body then reedit it so it looks more real, you can use an amulet. That way, you already know where the neck starts and just work your way down.

Or make a custom race that has a custom body that has armored undies instead of the normal undies.

Or as a replacer for all bodies.

I hope you don't mind that I used the meshes for the Superman shirt and pants. They're exactly what I was looking for.

The problem with custom bodies are that that's too permanent, you'd have to restart oblivon to do something as simple as switching undies.

The problem with creating a new CS is that a new CS won't change the old game engine.

The problem with your 10 rings trick is that none of theese other ting meshes show. Your character always only wears 2 rings.

My solution would only require OBSE and one quest script.
