Fallout: Storm Over The Mojave

This is true.. I stopped bothering to argue and mentioned the issues to Dante when it didn't look like it was gonna abate, but that was primarily to keep myself RPing, and not have him axe my privs.

Baldur, I've taken a little time to think about what you've said, and going over my past 5/6 characters your (you have no idea how bad this hurts me to admit) your right. I'm (*gags on own words*) sorry everybody. Being me, it takes me time to admit these things.

I do not care for apologies, after all, they can just be lipservice. What I care about is ACTION. From now on, your actions will determine the worth of your words. You actually listen to us, and tone stuff down, then your apology has worth and merit. If you remain the same, it was mere lip service and I will continue ignoring your posts and stuff. Can't say fairer than that.

You got an apology and you should care as most people won't give you one. Even if everything you just said is true was your post really necessary? So let me give you some of your own advice...listen to my words and play nice. This is a gaming site and a thread about a RP...I believe you have it in you to be more magnanimous than this.~Lisnpuppy

agreed, oh and baldur. Jace didn't actually threaten you or anyone...Jason threatened him when he had no absolute reason to. He also drew a frag grenade and was going to detonate it and kill Jace and anyone around him. Read posts before replying, It saves lives! lol

Since I'm too lazy to edit, just clarify to him. It can be clarified since Greebo's kinda hard of hearing, so he may not know who threatened whom.. or maybe didn't notice the grenade, only the gun....

Jason had the grenade ready, but wasn't going to be using it anytime soon, only if a fight started and only if Jace would be the only one getting hit by it. Just a sort of precaution, kinda. I put down his thought track when he drew it to prevent this, although apparently it didn't work. He wouldn't unnecessarily put the townsfolk at any more risk, as much as he hates the Enclave.

Sorry bout the confusion, my fault :wallbash:

This guy is designed as an antagonist for Jason Rivers (not Roland, Rivers.) with the hopes that it turns into a gray area morally, and making people think long and hard about whose side to take. If I post an unfinished sheet I'll finish it later, just means that one of my siblings has probably booted my off the PC

Name: Thames Arcturial

Race: Human, caucasian

Age: 28

Description: Thames is, like Jason, slightly taller than average, skinny, and very muscular, but has almost military-short blonde hair, bright green eyes and is more stockily built. His skin is smooth, naturally fair but also tanned from the Mojave sun. He wears NCR Ranger patrol armor, which has a water storage container on the back (similar to a camelback, if any of you have used one.) and the ranger hat, along with authority glasses. He has a regular backpack and bedroll on his back. Because he's deployed on combat duty he carries more ammo and can carry more weapons than a traveler, but isn't equipped with too much in the way of food.

Occupation: NCR Ranger.

Weapons: A Cowboy Repeater with maple stock and long tube modifications, a default .357 magnum revolver, a pair of looted make-shift machetes that the Legion prefers, and a smooth-bladed knife that he uses for practical purposes more than combat.

Other: (Companions etc): None

Skills: As an NCR Ranger, he is a fearsome combatant in both ranged, unarmed and melee combat, and possesses some stealth skills. He also has considerable survival knowledge, such as how to make poisons and antidotes, healing powder, and other remedies, and can at least maintain his weapons and armor. He's also fairly charismatic with other NCR members, be them citizens or troopers or fellow rangers. However, he possesses little technical knowledge of computers, turrets, or finer understanding of a gun. (low science and repair skill) He also has no experience with energy weapons, and it would take him a few minutes to even figure out which ammunition an energy weapon uses, and how to reload it.

Backstory: Thames is from Shady Sands, and so grew up as the NCR expanded north and west to Vegas. He joined the military at the youngest age he could, and his patriotism, combat prowess, and determination eventually landed him a place amongst the rangers. While he was with them the NCR began Operation Sunburst, where the troopers and rangers invaded the Brotherhood-occupied HELIOS One. The NCR suffered over 800 casualties, including many of Thames' friends and fellow rangers. Late in the battle, driven by blind fury, he killed a pair of knights single-handedly, (Not easily, however, and one of them he killed only because of a terrain advantage.) by throwing one from a large height, and slitting another's throat. That encounter gave him three laser scars along his torso and shoulders and a broken nose. He has continued to serve with the NCR, and is currently posted at Camp Forlorn Hope to assist Ranger Milo and Major Polatli.

Personality: Thames is a friendly enough guy, he's devoted to the NCR and hates most of its enemies. He believes that the NCR is the only faction that gurantees peace, and as a result disapproves of those who fall outside its control. He hates Caesar's Legion, Fiends, and the Brotherhood of Steel, the latter due to past events. He likes being around his fellows and friends, despite his ranger training making him a tough nut to crack when need be. He despises laziness and a lack of faith, both due to the ranger training, but amongst true NCR supporters he's held in a higher esteem than most. When he's on the job he's a serious, no-nonsense guy, but when amongst his fellows he's social like any other.

Name: Shiori Kirizaki

Age:15

Gender: Female

Race: Asian

Karmic Alignment: Good

Appearance: Pale skin, light purple hair, short and petite, developing a little slower than most girls her age, with narrow shoulders, slender arms, and a thin waist. Due to some experiments with Moira Brown before leaving the capital, her eyes glow faintly purple in the dark, in the daylight they are a pinkish purple colour.

Clothing: A blue jacket, with a white blouse, a light purple skirt, well made, nice looking but comfortable black leather shoes, and a small, heart shaped ruby pendant on a gold chain around her neck, a gift from her mother.

Weapons: A well maintained plasma defender, as well as a well sharpened ceremonial knife that she took from a museum. It has a jagged, curved blade, with a bone handle and a black sheath.

Skills/Occupation: Shiori was taught how to use and maintain most energy weapons, as well as most blade weapons. Her slender fingers are also quite nimble and dexterous, making her quite good at picking locks. Due to the aforementioned experiments, she also possesses almost perfect night vision

Personality: Generally happy and friendly, but at times troubled and sad, as if remembering her first parents, who were killed in a raider attack. She doesn't like raiders, and will show them no mercy. She cares for most people, but can be shy at times with people who seem too aggressive. She likes Ghouls, as her mother had a friend who was a ghoul.

History: Shiori was born in the Capital Wasteland, to two loving parents. One was an Asian woman named Sakura, and her father, a white man named Seth. On route to Megaton, her family was attacked by raiders, and didn't survive. Fortunately for Shiori, a young woman named Tomoyo drove off the raiders and took her in. She was raised by Tomoyo, and occasionally the woman that Tomoyo dated. Her mother, Tomoyo, taught her everything she needed to know about using and fixing energy weapons of any kind, mostly plasma weapons though, as those were the ones that Tomoyo had preferred. She also was taught how to use most blades, from a switchblade, to an officer's sword, even to her mother's Katana and Wakazashi, although those she had trouble with as they were a bit long and heavy for her. At around 13, Tomoyo sent her into town to do some work with Moira Brown, and after several experiments involving Radiation, and methods of treating it, she went home to find a note from her mother, telling her to head towards the Mojave, and that Tomoyo would meet her there. There were enough caps, food and a shiny new plasma defender sitting on the table in their home. She packed her things, and left shortly afterwards, escorted by her mother's friend, Sandro, an old ghoul. Along the way, Sandro took Shiori to see a museum that had been locked up, and aside from a feral or two that managed to get inside, the place was pretty much untouched, due to the security system. Unfortunately, they had to flee the museum due to security robots, but on the way out, Shiori managed to grab her knife. The two of them recently arrived in the Mojave, and are heading towards the Regulators, where Sandro hopes that a member can take care of Shiori, as Sandro needs to get back home to the Capital Wasteland, to protect the one he was contracted to keep safe, a blue haired girl with facial piercings named Axelle Edwards.

I wanted a second character, and decided to adapt a character I have in a story that's still being written. Is it ok? I don't see any problems with it myself, I mean, she gets nightvision from the experiments, but thats the only power she gets. She's pretty strong for her size, but within human limits, just strong because of manual labor and stuff, and yeah. Is ok?
