arael53
Hello, If i remember correctly, in new vegas and skyrim, critical hits ignored armor resistance. I'm wondering if it's still the case in fallout 4. I'm also wondering if critical damage are reduced by spells or perk that reduce damage by a certain %. Could someone enlighten me ? Thanks ! leisuresuitberry
1. Critical hit takes account of armor protection (with or without mods) in Fallout 4. 2. There are some weapons that give you the chance to ignore a certain percentage of enemy armor protection. 3. That Saugus Ironworks bad guy boss, Slag, wears no power armor on his head, that is his major weakness, vats and critical hit to save all the settlers in the confrontation scene. 4. Critical hits are best used when your character are in sneak mode so the damage increase as well (best used against mod bosses who have insane health). 5. From my experience, even if the enemy wears thick X-01 power armor, the best location to critical hit is still his head. 6. Critical hits can be done even though the enemy is hiding behind cover (for example your character vats him/her and that bad guy hides behind some trees or rocks, critical hit and he/she gets hit.
