corrupted nif files - help needed identifying which mods are causing it

just encountered this error and i would greatly appreciate it if someone could help identify which mods are causing the issues, or at least point me in the right direction as i have no idea where to start.

Looks like the problem mods are "battlemages" "Journey mages" and "Wenches".

 

However, one of the vanilla .nifs from the base game is also corrupted, suggesting the problem is now not just a matter of mods.

 

So my advice:

1. Delete the problem mods.

2. See if you can find the base .nif files (specifically the imperial female face as it says in the error) and replace your broken file with the original, working one.

 

If it still gives the errors, you'll probably have to do a reinstall of the game.

 

EDIT: Following the deletion, you could try reinstalling the mods behind this. I've never known them to cause this kind of issue but I also never used them myself. My guess is that there is an incompatibility somewhere. Install one at a time and see which, if either, breaks anything.

 

You can also scan with TES5Edit to see if anything unusual sticks out, but I'm not an expert on this sort of thing. Not sure how good my advice will be.

 

But the quickest way to resolve your problem is to delete the mods I mentioned, and replace the imperial female nif as that is the only one from the base game that isn't working.

I was more concerned that i couln't find the battmage nif's mod but after going through all my armor mods' directories, i finally found it. Reinstalled the mods and put them in their original order how they appeared before.

 

And guess what?

 

It works. :)

add. info, actually, has something to do with Immersive Armor, in which it has corrupted nif files. Use Nif healer or same app, in w/c it repairs bad nifs...
