so i wanted to add boots to the game as a sepreate piece to the bos uniform and i was able to reassign the but boots occupies the same slot as the uniform so i changed it and it worked! but when i loaded in the game I saw that the old boots in the bos unform clipped through the new ones and looked up how to fix it but somehow mess around too much and overestimated my abilities , i thought i did everything fine but when i loaded it up again i got this https://imgur.com/qvy84pK , what probably went wrong was that I replaced the original bos or i saved it with the skin sticking out and thats how it looks now? all the other vanilla outfits and modded ones look fine its just the bos and the military fatigues , i just assume their the same thing just a different skin ? i tied uninstalling the game , cbbe but so far no luck I also tried to do that thing were you mark the verticals as a way for it not show up in game but im not really sure im doing at this point . hopefully someone can help me figure this out

p.s. i used this trouble shooting guide https://forums.nexus...bodyslide-cbbe/ but i probably didnt do it right cause didnt fix it , gonna do it again and i did build in body slide

Right for a start: (each of these only require 1 Biped Slot)

For the Boots: Select - Body Slot - (tick Body Slot for both the Armor Record Entry, and Armor Addon Record Entry for Boots) <-- Footware must use the Body Slot, this also applies to any outfit that may include Footware

for the Uniform: Tick the Underarmor Torso Slot - --> Torso <-- (only this slot, again do this for both the Armor Entry and Armor Addon Record entry, For the BOS Uniform, that you wish to Modify)

both the Armor Entry and Armor Addon entry, Must share the same Biped Slots

now, load the BOS uniform Project into Outfit Studio - Delete the Boots from it, And the CBBE Reference Body. then Save Project, now rebuild the BOS uniform in Bodyslide.

Note: the BOS uniform Project i am Refeering to is the Bodyslide Files included in The CBBE Mod - Located in the Slidersets Folder

if done correctly, you will now be able to use any footware with the BOS Uniform without issues.

Note: the CBBE Reference Body, is Only Required For Creating Bodyslide files, but once created, it should be Removed (with the only exception being directly below this line):.

Note: The CBBE Reference Body must be kept for High Heels (not applicable here, but must be said regardless).

the image you posted, looks like you was attempting to create Bodyslide files for the BOS Uniform, this is not necessary if you Already Have CBBE and left all Bodyslide Files Ticked for it. as it includes bodyslide files for all Armor and Clothing in the game and DLC by Default. unless you unticked these options in the CBBE Fomod installer.

Basically, your image, is what Outfits Look like when you Equip an Outfit that is made for the Vanilla Body on to a CBBE Body, but does not Include CBBE Bodyslide Files. this would usally require Creating Bodyslide Files for Said Outfit, in your Instance, it would Require using the *Increase Mesh Volume Tool* in *Outfit Studio* as a start to Eliminate Clipping, and Hide the Actual CBBE Body with The Outfit. <-- however this is only necessary if you do not already have CBBE Bodyslide files for Said Outfit. but you should have them, as long as you did not Untick the Options in CBBE Fomod Installer.

i am going to assume you already have the boots as standalone.
