Niteslash
Flashlight/Weapons with flashlights, that default light is just utter crap, flashlights are coolAn alternate ending so that the game can be completed and played continuallyJukebox and Radio that can play custom musicExperience bar constantly on HUDA hell of a lot more questsLightsaber's! Or if that's a bit too silly maybe a nano-sword like the dragontooth from Deus ExTexture replacements for most things but most importantly clothing and weapons, icky.Shader replacements! Moving into a shadow just makes everything look green and dirty, like most 90's games ...A hell of a lot more clothes!More hair! Long hair is somewhat needed, not rens hair though, too plastic.Greatly Improved walking animations or if its a Havock it needs fixing, anyone else seen the way you practically glide around the floor when you run, it's not cool, ive sent debris flying off into the netherworld just by colliding with it.Motorbike mounts. I mean come on, there's a model, theres leather, the goggles AND the tash, i want my damn bike!Change the 3rd person camera to be above and behind the head, over the shoulder is so typically a console thingI'll update it when i can think of some more, im pretty tired =]
w0t
1. Hold tab.2. Wait for the CS.5. See 2.6. If there weren't licensing issues, I'm sure Todd would've added them.7. Afaik these are in progress.8. Sure those are shaders and not lighting/cubemaps? I'm not quite sure what you mean, but shaders generally don't have much to do with shadows. The movement of water surface for example is a vertex shader.

Jared2500
1. I would definitely like to see some model and texture replacements for some weapons, especially the 10mm pistol. It looks like it's from a playstation 1 game. 2. More hats and outfits as well would be good, but I believe adding content requires a CS. 3. I hope a lot of music comes up for Fallout 3, besides the music from the first and second game. 4. An outfit hotkey mod like the ones from Oblivion would also be very useful. 5. Script Extender! 6. A jetpack would definitely fit in the Fallout world. 7. More things you can build, and weapon customization as well. 8. Whatever happened to Alchemy? This would fit perfectly with the medicine skill. 9. More realistic and visual effects for different drugs. More variety besides stat changes. Especially don't blend inebriation effects with drugs, it just doesn't work that way. I would love to see hallucinogens implemented in Fallout. 10. Bring back the inebriation mod from Oblivion, but for alcohol only. 11. An insomnia mod that makes you begin to hallucinate and highly increases perception after not sleeping for 7 days. 12. Dreams would be AMAZING. I've always wanted to see a creative mod about dreams. Maybe when you sleep, there's a 10% chance you have a dream. The laws of the game wouldn't need to apply to the dream, and it wouldn't always make sense. 13. Body Replacers, but I could care less about the nudity. I would just like to see some variety in different people's bodies. 14. Traps. Any mod where you could get creative with traps. For instance, dig a hole with a shovel, and place spikes at the bottom. Then cover the hole with something and you're done. Something that will let you decide how they are made. 15. CUSTOM PERKS. I would love to see some creative perks implemented in the game. The more unusual, the better! 16. Increased weapon damage, for you and for enemies. It doesn't take 5 headshots to kill a normal person. 17. I would love to see Skycaptian make a version of his Deadly Reflex mod for Fallout 3.
NiKtheALiEN
One things that really bugs me, and a few others from what i read is the time frame cycle. In Vanilla Fallout3, 1 in-game hour is just 2 minutes! That means we get only (about) 24 minutes of light and 24 minutes of dark! Personally, I'd really like to see a Mod that makes the 24hr cycle last about 3hours(1.5hrs light and 1.5hrs dark), would be ideal.
Jared2500
Also, someone needs to give dogmeat some additional animations to give him more personality. His run animation looks robotic. He also needs a sit, and rollover. Maybe even some facial animations.

I've had plenty of dogs, and they've all looked at my face when I'm talking to them (unless they know in they're in trouble, but that's a different matter). Jared2500
Someone DEFINITELY should make a motorcycle. It would be pretty neat if it had good offroad handling as well, so you could drive it through the subway tunnels.
Tehpastaboy
More plot-related stuff in the vaults A patch to fix companion following paths Remove the level 20 cap (!!!) - you could even make it so that after level 20 you don't get perks anymore to avoid game-breaking Raise the leveled lists of enemies - I'm pretty sure it's lower than 20, because I'm level 20 and I'm effortlessly one-shotting most enemies with AR-31's Plasma rifle...then again, I have 100 points in energy weapons Carry weight altered New houses Bigger cities More NAMED Npcs Something, ANYTHING worthwhile to spend my 20k+ caps on More interesting companions Remove the cap of 1 companion at a time
FalseEmperor
1. Camera control mods similar to the ones that were made for Oblivion 2. Better skin textures. It seems that my characters' skin is an off yellow color like I have jaundice. I'm certainly interested in other textures being updated but that is one of the ones that most bother me. 3. This would be a large undertaking but an ALIENS mod would be pretty cool. Ever since I got a flame thrower I have thought that it would be very cool to wander into an abandoned laboratory to fry some uglies. 4. Improved animations. Some of the vanilla animations are decent but there are just too many that seem... off 5. If it would be possible an enhanced and extended character creation menu. Oblivion had quite a few more sliders and that allowed for a much more in depth customization of our characters' faces. More hair styles, more eye colors, hell even more races. I would love to make a ghoul. 6. As others have said more areas to explore as well as extensions to the world would be nice. Bethesda did a good job of making the world very dense but at the cost of the overall size of it 7. More weapons and apparel are a no brainer. Don't get me wrong, I'm still quite content with the current line-ups but eventually it would be nice to see our wardrobes enlarged and our armories filled with some new gear. 8. Something akin to SkyCaptains' Deadly Reflex. Again, I am still fine with the vanilla version of combat as is but I can see it becoming stale much like Oblivions' combat system became for me. Hopefully Bethesda will be delivering a nice, intuitive and powerful CS soon so that all of those talented modders can start making this game even better Cheers,~False
