Simple question, id like to change JUST one NPCs body mesh and texture but leave the rest as they are.Alas i have no clue how to do that, so I'm here requesting a bit of knowledge. changing body mesh,textures does the whole race... but is there a way i could leave the race and just edit one NPC? IsharaMeradin Posted October 8, 2012 Share Posted October 8, 2012 Only way to achieve what you want is to copy the original race, assign the single npc in question to the copy. then you can redirect the mesh & texture to a unique location. however that single npc may not function properly in any scenarios that check against its race. that's the solution in a nutshell. the specifics of which I'm not 100% clear on. I am in the middle of figuring out how to do the very thing you suggested xD, bit rusty with CK since last use was with oblivion.i doubt ill have an issue, im going to test it and see what happens. This stuff is getting harder n harder or im getting slower and slower... ive looked around CK found the actor found the race they are using... but have no idea where it indicates where to draw the meshs or textures from.i can find the head options... but nothing to do with the body. a little more help would be very much apreciated. They have some joint & some unique ArmorAddon entries starting with NakedTorso, NakedHands, NakedFeet. Textures: There are texture sets under TextureSets which are assigned to the mesh in question on the ArmorAddon form. Some texture sets are linked to form lists which are also applied to the ArmorAddon form. Tip: you can enter up to 11 texture sets on the form list and have a different texture per weight setting. hope that helps. been typing this during commercial breaks so haven't gone into really deep detail.
