Arendele
I've been trying to replace aura whisper shout from 'Laas Ya Nir' to 'Shaan Rii Gaan.' I made the audio edits and converted them from .wav to .fuz and put it into:J:\Games\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\sound\Voice\Skyrim.esm\femaleeventonedwith the same file names as the original aura whisper files:voicepowers_shout01a_00068a18_1.fuzvoicepowers_shout01b_00068466_1.fuzvoicepowers_shout02_000684fa_1.fuzvoicepowers_shout03_000686fb_1.fuzI'm playing a custom race (Sea elf) but the mod files don't include any sound files so I assume it would be the femaleeventoned because what else would it be. I've tried four different conversion applications (lazy audio, Yakitori, skyrim audio converter and fuz extractor) and I also tried several different methods with each app. No matter what I do my character still says 'Laas Ya Nir' and it doesn't work. I changed the sound effect that plays from casting the shout successfully (the .wav in the sounds.bsa) first try but I just can't get the voice files working. Is there something obvious I'm missing? are the conversions not the right settings or somehting? Do I NEED .lip files to get .fuz files to work? if so how do I get .lip files for shouts? cumbrianlad
I did a tutorial on getting custom shouts into the game. Maybe It'll help? The voice files won't work (even if the shout itself does) unless there's a quest with the four words in it.
