RobinHood2005
I recently purchased a Corsair Strafe RGB mechanical keyboard and was wondering how to clean the keys safely without damaging it. Before, I had a Logitech G213, which I cleaned by wiping over the keys with an anti-bacterial wipe and drying it with a microfiber cloth. Can I do the same with this one, or is it too risky? Mushkingb
Canned pressure is pretty good for removing dust under the keycaps. Otherwise you can just use the anti bacterial wipe method again for cleaning the keycaps.
HeyYou
I use Fantastic, a scrub brush, and compressed air. (from an air compressor, not a can.) Spray it with fantastic, scrub it gently in a couple different directions, then use the air to blow out the crap, and dry it off. They look new when done, and doesn't damage the keyboard. RobinHood2005
Thanks for the tips, guys. (FYI, I'm talking about a solution that does not require me to take off the keys manually) Edited September 29, 2019 by RobinHood2005
HeyYou
The method I detailed doesn't require any disassembly. That's the method I use at work to clean used keyboards. And I do anywhere from 20, to 50 at a time..... :D
