billyro
Hi all. I've read the whole series (so far) of A Song of Ice and Fire, or A Game of Thrones as it is commonly referred to, and I noticed that my character image of Tyrion was almost a complete replica of Varrick from Dragon Age 2. I haven't seen the show of A Game of Thrones, so I don't know what Tyrion looks like in that, but I just thought it funny that I thought Tyrion up as Varrick. They do have a lot of similarities personality-wise, and they are both dwarfs, so why not? Anyone else get this? I told this to my friend the other day and he said the exact same thing happened to him...
liakus
I haven't thought of that .Thank's for bringing that up .Yes there are many similarities with Varick and Tyrion Lannister, and many differences of course.Varick comes from a race of dwarfs ,in the other hand Tyrion is a human dwarf like many other normal people, born with a disability wich makes them special .And many similarities ,like allthough they are small in size they both are "giant's" in intelectual size .I think there is some kind of an osmosis between Bioware writers and G.R.R.Martin and that Peter Dinklage-the actor that plays Tyrion Lannister in tv adoptation (game of thrones) he is perfect for both roles. brokenergy
I have to give kudos to Mary Kirby for creating him but isn't this more appropriate in the DA2 forums?
billyro
Yeah, probably. I didn't know where to put it. The smart remarks from both Tyrion and Varrick crack me up, though. :)
