The first Evercra...errr I mean Everquest was highly addictive,and me being one who is easily influenced,did not want to posion and throw away my social life in such a way.When I do that,I want to do it on my own terms. Supposedly they are trying to make it more geared toward people with lives than the first one was. From what I've read, it looks better than any other MMORPG out or in development. The graphics are amazing IMO for an online game, especially for an online game. The only thing I'm worried about is monthly server fees <_< . I never found Everquest very impressive and can't see why people find it so addictive :P Final Fantasy XI owns it completely IMO. Though I must admit the graphics are very impressive for EQ2. But graphics aren't everything... Basically I've lost faith in the EQ series after playing the first one. All the updates won't focus on fixing bugs but rather fixing "balance issues" and making the end game so time involving that people literally give up their real lives to be able to spend enough time playing to get a small iota of anything done. Not to mention that the majority of the players suffer from social retardation and a severe lack of intelligence.
