2017Nexus2017
turn your monitor upside down xDHeh, I would if my monitor was one of those that can spin around on the stand 360 degrees in any direction...plus I would need to zoom in to read what it actually says if the handwriting or prints is too small to read from that distance....which when in read mode is disabled so you can't zoom in or rotate the note in question like you can in inspect mode... jokes aside, list your mods, and i will see if their is a potential mod causing the issue.According to the plugins.txt file:# This file is used by Fallout4 to keep track of your downloaded content.# Please do not modify this file.*ArmorKeywords.esm*Armorsmith Extended.esp*BasementLiving.esp*TEEParty.esp*TEEPartyDLC.esp*AA Better Companions - No Conflicts.esp*Reverb and Ambiance Overhaul.esp*Scrap Everything - Ultimate Edition.esp*ScrapUpdate - Ultimate.esp*brtrn_dogmeatDoubleArmor.esp*BetterModDescriptions.esp*LoveToCraftLegendary_Base.esp*LoveToCraftLegendary_Base_ExtraEffects.esp*LoveToCraftLegendary_Base_Automatron.esp*LoveToCraftLegendary_Base_FarHarbor.esp*LoveToCraftLegendary_Base_BonusEffects.esp*LoveToCraftLegendary_Base_NukaWorld.esp*UncappedSettlementSurplus.esp Also a DLCList.txt which says something different:DLCCoast.esmDLCNukaWorld.esmDLCRobot.esmDLCworkshop01.esmDLCworkshop02.esmDLCworkshop03.esmBasementLiving.espTEEParty.espTEEPartyDLC.espAA Better Companions - No Conflicts.espOVT.espReverb and Ambiance Overhaul.espBetterModDescriptions.espScrap Everything - Ultimate Edition.espScrapUpdate - Ultimate.espArmorKeywords.esmArmorsmith Extended.espHAAS - Automatron.espHAAS.espLegendaryModification - DLC Far Harbor (2LM).espLegendaryModification.espLegendaryModification2LM.espLegendaryModificationCSA.espLegendaryModificationGroknak.espLegendaryModificationMisc.espbrtrn_dogmeatDoubleArmor.esp Edited October 8, 2019 by 2017Nexus2017
G4M3W1NN3R
right i can tell what mods it wont be, and that is because i also run said mods and have no issue. Reverb and Ambiance Overhaul Scrap Everything - Ultimate Edition.esp ArmorKeywords.esm Armorsmith Extended.esp HAAS - Automatron.esp HAAS.esp the mods above i know for a fact are not the cause on their own or with each other, all your other mods are however potential causes, as i either do not recongize them or because they are pretty old, and have an abudance of user bug reports, so it may not be a single mod itself, and as such could very well be a conflict, rather then a single mod causing the issue. also Legendary Modifications, is a very risky mod to use, it has 100+ bug reports. plus it has been abandoned (as indicated on the main description page, where the author says they are no longer updating it, not too mention it was made within the first year of fallout 4 release, and not updated since). so as such i suggest deleting it. from their, disable all mods, except the ones i listed that i know work, and enable each 1 at a time until the problem comes back. luckily for you, you do not have many mods, so this should be very quick at figuring out which 1 it is. or alternatively, load all mods into F04Edit, and see what mod(s) modify the Note. alot of the mods you posted have a lot of bug reports, so that makes using said mods very risky. the ones i listed above, i know are safe to use. however out of them, scrap everything ultimate, can delete previs system, which will completely destroy performance. i suggest deleting it as well, and downloading Place Everywhere (which is what you should have, if you ever intend on doing settlement building, this f4se plugin is for me the single most important mod for any type of Settlement building or home making. plus Place Everywhere also has an option that allows you to safely scrap the majority of things in the game) Place Everywhere: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9424 i have personally since removed scrap ultimate, because i found out that Place Everywhere (which i have been using since the beginning, has an option that scrap pretty much everything, without affecting the Previs-Precombine System, a.k.a the only pc optimization we have from bethesda)

How do I find out which one modifies notes? First time user...looks intimidating and I feel lost.... :pinch:    :hurr: :ohdear: :psyduck: I also disabled all mods through the mods section ingame and loaded up a save file and the issue still persist(see below screenshots), so.....may as well see what FO4Edit can find before I toss that away...hahaha    :teehee: also Legendary Modifications, is a very risky mod to use, it has 100+ bug reports. plus it has been abandoned (as indicated on the main description page, where the author says they are no longer updating it, not too mention it was made within the first year of fallout 4 release, and not updated since). so as such i suggest deleting it. Aw, but how will I be able to transfer legendary mods from a shitty item to something better that I have or create when I don't have any and want some on my gear?  :excl: :ohdear: alot of the mods you posted have a lot of bug reports, so that makes using said mods very risky. the ones i listed above, i know are safe to use. however out of them, scrap everything ultimate, can delete previs system, which will completely destroy performance. i suggest deleting it as well, and downloading Place Everywhere (which is what you should have, if you ever intend on doing settlement building, this f4se plugin is for me the single most important mod for any type of Settlement building or home making. plus Place Everywhere also has an option that allows you to safely scrap the majority of things in the game) Place Everywhere: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9424 i have personally since removed scrap ultimate, because i found out that Place Everywhere (which i have been using since the beginning, has an option that scrap pretty much everything, without affecting the Previs-Precombine System, a.k.a the only pc optimization we have from bethesda)Well they work right? So I kinda take the bug reports if any, with a grain of salt or ignore them completely (ie skipping the entire post and forum tabs if the mod page have them)...unless I come across a bug that also happens to have been reported but as of yet is to be acknowledged (or is acknowledged but wont be fixed for whatever reason) by the uploader and that it's bugging to the point of being unplayable, then yeah - I'll of course remove it completely and make do without it or find an alternative if there is one... I see, so scrap everything deletes the previs system which is used for frame rate optimization....huh...how much frames per second are usually lost with this disabled? I suppose I could replace Scrap Everything with Place Everywhere, which requires F4SE if it's really that bad of a deal.... "I see, so scrap everything deletes the previs system which is used for frame rate optimization....huh...how much frames per second are usually lost with this disabled? Slideshow framerate (unplayable), however abysmal framerate is not the only thing that can come from broken Pre-vis system, deleted things can come back, and accordingly broken pre-vis can cause CTDs, instability Fo4Edit 1. the Plugin/Master Window that popups immediately upon launching Fo4Edit - click on ok. 2. once all plugins have finished loading - indicated by the message *Background Loader Finished* <-- in the right pane window 3. on the left pane window - Expand each mod by pressing the little Plus Sign next to each mod name, look for a Misc Item Record Entry 4. inside the misc item drop down box, look for notes now i have never modified notes, so i am only assuming here, that a mod might of made a change to the notes themselves, thus causing issue, however the likelyhood of this is unknown or if its even possible for a mod to cause this type of issue that you have. If it was, why is it released on PC then? They'd have a much better job just focusing on them console players.... Always thought every PC release is proper PC and not emulation of its console equivalent variant.... How do you even tell if it's an emulation or proper PC release? Keeping up with their news I guess? Or modding the game till it breaks and then blame it on the game for not being able to handle the load considering PCs can handle much better than a console will and then say it's an emulation? Or something else? Fo4Edit 1. the Plugin/Master Window that popups immediately upon launching Fo4Edit - click on ok. 2. once all plugins have finished loading - indicated by the message *Background Loader Finished* <-- in the right pane window 3. on the left pane window - Expand each mod by pressing the little Plus Sign next to each mod name, look for a Misc Item Record Entry 4. inside the misc item drop down box, look for notesThanks.... huh, none of the entries even have an item called "notes" anywhere in their "Misc. Item" drop down if they have an entry for that.... now i have never modified notes, so i am only assuming here, that a mod might of made a change to the notes themselves, thus causing issue, however the likelyhood of this is unknown or if its even possible for a mod to cause this type of issue that you have.Yeah, I have screenshots of it working fine before in vanilla...dunno what I did to the game, but modded it a bit(maybe more than a bit if you also have no idea how I could have possibly caused this issue, even with your over 7 years experience! ) and now have this issue....have been ongoing for more than a year actually...just haven't bothered to get it fixed until now as one of the quests require actually reading the or a note of sorts, but I can't read it obviously since it's upside and in an illegible font and size and I can't zoom in and rotate the note upright to read it better.... Besides, if I can get it fixed now, that would mean future and other notes would also be finally readable again! So two birds one stone effect. Slideshow framerate (unplayable), however abysmal framerate is not the only thing that can come from broken Pre-vis system, deleted things can come back, and accordingly broken pre-vis can cause CTDs, instability I guess less crashes is always welcomed! SKKmods
> If it was, why is it released on PC then? Because is sold over 10 MILLION PC copies on steam. So besides all this ramble, is there no other way besides verifying game integrity which would completely destroy all mods, no matter how big or small as Fallout 4 does not have steam workshop integrated so all the mods are really ini edits or file/folder replacements? And I didn't exactly record all the mods I used, including ini file edits and other custom files that may or may not be listed as a plugin mod.
