Wookie120
Just wanted to say thank you to all who looked at my post and did not reply. I am very new to modding and could have used the help. Guess these forums are not so helpful after all.
G4M3W1NN3R
the reason why nobody replied is because they probably don't know the cause. not too mention this site is used worldwide, you know different time zones, so the people that may have had a solution would have not even seen the post, either because they were working, sleeping, or out. and the fact not everyone checks this site on a daily basis. 1 day is not enough to expect a solution to a problem that is not very common and really has no solution, and only affects 50% of the people, example i have an insane amount of mods that use the Chemistry lab, and i have absolutely no issues, yet the same people with even less mods and potentially the same mods i have, may get the issue. and that is because this is a base game issue. which only 50% of the people get (rough estimate, most probably much less to be honest, else their would be thousands of bug reports on every single mod that adds loads of Chemistry lab recipes). you can temporary fix it, by opening the Console and type: SLM 14 this will allow you to exit the sub menus, however it is only a temporary solution. their is no permanent solution to this issue, aside from using Armorsmith Workbench (although issue could very well happen in AWKCR Workbenches as well), or removing the mods that seem be causing it, even though its not the mod(s) fault, it is the game fault. i also have shadegirl outfits, and i do not have a single issue with it, especially not in the chemistry lab. <-- perfect example of why the majority of people would not have the solution to an issue, that is not easy to solve, because it does not affect everyone, and is not caused by any particular mod/mods. No news is good news. i would rather have no replies, then have loads of replies with people saying they have no idea, as that would give false hope. where as having no replies will eventually lead to that 1 post that contains a solution to thi issue. not too mention those that are problem solvers could very well ignore problem posts that have loads of replies, because that then means somebody or multiple people have already come up with a solution, so the person that does in fact have the solution would feel its a waste of time to check said post that already has loads of replies. now imagine you had loads of replies with people saying they have no idea, you have just lost that 1 guy that potentially had the solution, because you expected people to reply regardless if they had the solution or not. with all that said, this could potentially be a hardware based issue, i do not have this issues, and my computer is pretty powerful, where as those that may have had this issue could very well have a far less powerful computer. so if that is the case you will not like the solution. Wookie120
Thank you for the reply. It is appreciated. I have had this problem back in 2016 also. I had h oped that maybe using Vortex as a manager would have changed things. Sadly, after working in corrections I have a not so very rosey outlook on humanity in general, and when I was having trouble with another mod several years back and asked a question, and received a very rude reply from the mod author and a few others, well, it colored my vied of the forums. I followed the install instructions to the letter, tried it with both versions. The armor does not even show up in the list with the one that requires AWKCR and Armorsmith extended. Thank you for telling me about the console trick. I had also asked a very simple question concerning Vortex in another post on the forums as to if i had to still download and install F4SE. I did not know if it came installed with Vortex, I know now and installed it.
G4M3W1NN3R
their is an alternative method. we will skip crafting completely for this method you will need to use F4SE. and Download this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16718 on that link, visit the post section, and directly underneath sticky, also download that file as well (that the user as very nicely linked). that file will allow said mod to work with current version of F4SE. Note: if you have any mods that use F4SE, then the game must be launched via F4SE, not Fallout4.exe, or its launcher or vortex. (failing to launch the game via F4SE will make any mod that requires F4SE not work at all, basically redundant.) add both mods manually to Vortex (which i dont know how, as i do not use Vortex, i use NMM) and likewise install them in Vortex. now launch the game via F4SE, and in game press F11 - this will bring up Esp Explorer, which will allow to give yourself any content in any mod. including shadegirl outfits  now you can either click on any of your mods in the Esp Explorer Window to view contents in the mod, or you can use the search function of Esp Explorer and likewise manually search for Shadegirl (by clicking on the magnify glass at the top of Esp Explorer Window, once you have found shadegirl outfits, simply click on them to move them to your inventory, its literally the exact same looting basically). doing the above bypasses the whole crafting issue althogher, it makes it much quicker and easier to get the content you want from any mod you have. Definitely an Essential mod. all of the above would be much easier to help with if you was using NMM. but either way let us know how you get on. so yea give it go, if you cant figure it out, i will offer a better solution that will require using NMM, it will much more simpler and more successful to use when it comes to modding. as absolutely no mod has issues when its installed to fallout 4 data folder, unlike the Virtual Drive that Vortex uses. Note the above is not a knock to Vortex, its just simple facts. the data folder has no issues at all, yet using a virtual drive can cause issues and has caused issues for users with specific mods. Wookie120
I went to the link on the sticky post but did not see how to download the file, hotkey file I think. I am not computer savy I fear. I did however find the shade girl outfits in the console so was able to grab em that way. Skyrim has a similar mod that lets you go into the esp's and get items. Listen, I want to thank you for your patience and kindness in helping me out.

A computer tech i am not I fear. I was able to find the outfits in the console and added them that way. Skyrim has a mod also that lets you go into the esp's. G4M3W1NN3R
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16718 Click on Files Tab - and then click on Mod Manager Download after that, click on the Posts Tab - Scroll Down Past the Sticky, and the Very First Post, has a link to a fixed dll file, that makes the mod work with the latest verison of F4SE. once you have downloaded the latest DLL you simply add that file to Vortex, and then install it via Vortex. Note: Install Esp Explorer First, then the Fixed DLL, and Overwrite When Asked (Assuming Vortex has that option) if done correctly (as in vortex installed the mods properly) then you simply launch the game via F4SE (Double clicking on F4SE_loader) when in game press F11, and the ESP Explorer should popup the mod is very similair to the one in Skyrim. as for giving kudos, you would click on the user picture or name in the forum, click on View Nexus Profile (directly underneath their forum profile picture and various options, on the left hand side of the screen), and on their nexus forum profile, will be a Give Kudos option, along with their files, images and whatnot You're Welcome
