Constant crashing even after complete reinstall and removal of mods/ne

Hi there, I just wanted to see if anyone could give me a hand here. Skyrim was running fine for me until I stopped playing for about a month. After I tried playing again, it crashes within a few seconds of play. I'm completely stumped here, as I've tried uninstalling and deleting the skyrim folder in Documents and in steamapps. I've tried playing new games and old ones, and I've removed every mod I had.

Here is the log of what happens when I try to make a new game (crashes to desktop with no error)

Something interesting is that the "Companionhousekeeping" thing never appears when i crash on a game I loaded with the mods on. I feel like it has something to do with the actor trigger at the end, but I have no idea why it's happening. Thanks in advance for any help.

Are you using a legal copy of Skyrim through Steam? Try validating the game cache files through the Steam interface.

If you are using Steam Workshop mods, since they update automatically, an updated mod could now be causing a conflict, such as needing an .esm file that you don't have.

Removing mods incompletely can also cause script fragments that can cause crashing.

However, the fact that it happens after a set amount of time, rather that on startup or at specific locations suggests to me it is related to your hardware. Have you had a look at your drivers in game--especially your temperatures?

You could try updating your drivers (using a clean install of drivers, not the steam update drivers if you have NVidia drivers)

Also if you have not, download and run BOSS for mod order, then address any issues that BOSS notes in the log it generates.

Hi, yeah I'm using a Steam copy of Skyrim. I've tried validating the cache as well as defragging it.

I haven't looked at my temps while playing, but could it really be hardware? I'm able to play other games without crashes (Shogun 2/Deus Ex HR). I'll give BOSS a shot, I have not tried that. Thanks for the help.

Just an update here, after updating my GPU's drivers, running BOSS, and while monitoring my hardware, I haven't had a crash so far. I'm cautiously optimistic right now, but optimistic nonetheless. If I don't post in the thread again, many, many thanks upon you for the help you gave.
