shinyfan
Hi! I got following questions/problems: 1. Smilies added by me don't show up. I've heard that there would be some setting option - but I couldn't find it.2. I want to disable endorsements in the Oblivion - ImageGallery; but it doesn't work always. Thanks and best regards:happy:
DrakeTheDragon
Well, I can see your smiley  just fine, if that's of any help. You mean, if you upload a new image to the Oblivion Image Share and select "Enable Endorsements: No", they're still enabled sometimes? That'd be a bug report then, maybe related to the inability of some members to store their profile settings. shinyfan
Thanks for your quick answer!<br><br>.. regarding smilies: I can see smilies added in the forum out of the box; but I cannot see smilies typed via keyboard in the image gallery in comments (not in the forum!); <br><br>.. and yes, the matter of disabling endorsement is a bug from my point of view; and you can be sure that it is correct what I'm saying. Must I do a bug report?<br><br>Thanks again<br><img src="http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/happy.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=""> Edited October 12, 2012 by shinyfan
DrakeTheDragon
Well, from what I remember I was never seeing smilies in the comments of neither images nor file uploads. Aren't they a forums-exclusive thing? You got me confused there now. And what means of editing did you use that it's adding HTML into your post now? I never had that happen to any of my edits either.

JimboUK
Hi!!I wanted to know how can i put five or six screens in the same image when i want to add an image??I don't have a premium account.ty :)) What do you mean? joining multiple images to make one image or embedding other images in the description? To join multiple images first create a blank image that will be the size of the finished image, then using the GIMP, Photoshop or whatever paste the images you want onto the blank one as new layers and arrange them. You could also use the Combine feature on this and save a lot of time and effort if you're simply joining images together. Do keep the 1.5MB limit in mind. For embedding use the img tags in the description, if you're embedding images you've uploaded here and you've uploaded them just to be able to embed them then be sure to set those as hidden so you don't clutter up the imageshare. [img=imageURL] You're limited to uploading 5 images a day, you can of course embed images from sites like Photobucket in the description.

JimboUK
The URL goes in the description or it won't show in the imageshare, the URL also has to be a direct link to the image, not the page the image is on. Right click on the image you want to embed and open it in a new window/tab, you'll now have the direct link in the address bar, the link will end with .jpg
bben46
@shineyfan it helps with the smilies if you leave a space both in front and behind. If you see the <br> when you post it can be fixed if you immediately click on 'edit' under the post and switch to "The Use Full Editor" mode instead of the quick reply mode. Then 'add reply' again to correct the formatting. The quick reply has some bugs with formatting.
