Deleted903830User
Small idea, but probably a large amount of work. You can not target body parts with melee weapons, and that is just a crime. This simple little addition to V.A.T.S. would do the game a world of good. Anyone think this would be possible with a construction set?
BlueShiftSolo
With a Construction Set, yes... I think it'd be child's play. All that you'd have to do would be to code melee weapons in as normal "ranged" weapons with a very small range and their original animation. Who knows, maybe Bethesda already has it set up that way, in which case one would only need to change a boolean value.
TehProfileth
It is not really overhaul it is more of um how should I put this.... oh, doing Bethesda's job for them.
Lightz
Could you target body parts in fallout 1 and 2? If not then theres why.
MrCooper2006
Yeah i dont see why not... If you have a huge sledgehammer and your up in someones face. You wouldnt have to swing wildly, you could take their arm clean off and disarm then, then proceed to pound there head in. Plus, you should be able to decapitiate body parts, not just gib the entire body, like blow someones legs off, or both there arms. So cool. furtim
Totally! This was a huge disappointment for me. I mean, doesn't it make sense that if you have, say, the Chinese Officer's Sword or whatever, that you should be able to use it to dismember your opponents? ;)
