SilverNirvash Posted October 12, 2012 Share Posted October 12, 2012 (edited) well i remember a fairly easy to use mod for oblivion that let you transfer enchantments from one piece of equipment to another so long as they were of the same type of item (example armor enchantment to another piece of armor) i was wondering if anyone had made a mod like this for skyrim? i tried searching the nexus and failed to find any mods related to this. if it hasn't been made i was hoping someone could make a mod like this for skyrim as a request? or to make things more interesting i was thinking of an enchantment extraction mod that lets you extract a single part of an enchantment from an item. the extraction would work like this step one: choose effect to extractstep two: extract effect into a gem or soul stone like itemthe side effects of doing this would mean destroying the item you extracted the enchantment from thus sacrificing the OTHER effects from that enchanted item. of course the effect you extract would be the full effect and not based on your own skills so if the item had Deal 10 fire damage on target then regardless of your enchantment related skills it would still deal 10 fire damage on target even if your skills were great enough to create an effect better than that or visa versa. forgot to mention that just because your skills don't effect how powerful the effect is it still determines the chance of failure of extractin and in turn immediate destruction of the item you're trying to extract from. (with the exception that enchantment strength isn't an exact duplicate)it is?....i haven't played skyrim in like....FOREVER lol i just got my computer like 3 days ago and my previous computer couldnt handle skyrim for months now so i honestly couldnt remember the enchantment system lol if it really lets you transfer enchantments from item to item freely or extract an enchantment the way i explained than never mind!~! but wait does the enchantment system destroy the item you're taking the enchantment off of? i basically got the idea for this from my fave MMO mabinogi lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dudeman325 Posted October 12, 2012 Share Posted October 12, 2012 Yup, here's the basics for Skyrim enchanting. 1- Find enchanted item.2- Disenchant item at the enchanting table to learn that type of enchantment (Fortify health, Fire damage, or whatever). This destroys the item, allowing you to put that enchantment on other items.3- Using a soul gem, enchant a similar item (not all enchantments can go on the same item type).
