Is there a way to attach a model to the player?

I would just create an armor piece assigned to a new body slot:

But jeah, it will be shown as equipped (in this case without wasting a normal armor slot)...uhm to avoid that...what exactly you want to do?

Tbh. i guess this would be the easiest way, otherwise you might add it to the body mesh...but then everyone would run around with this attached object so you would have to create a new (player)race as well and whatever - just my first quick thoughts :D

Well... I'm trying to make an updated version of my mod "Supreme and Volumetric Fogs"

Actually that mod enables a fog shader to the player when weather is foggy. However this solution is performance expensive. So I'm trying to attach the FX circular low fog around the player instead of enabling a shader.

 

Hoping i was clear :)
