Which also means I have no idea what was special about that particular M1911, if anything. I seem to remember Vasht had an M1911 mod? Did you try searching for M1911 on the mod site? That said, the dude uses a variety of modern weapons in the comics, IIRC, so there's quite a bit of weaponry around that you could use and still reasonably pass for the Punisher.
