Fallout 3 hell for 'completionists'

I would say im a "completionist" where as in a game like Oblivion, i HAVE to do everything, talk to everyone, hear everything, see everything, and do every possible possibility possible.

Same with Fallout 3... the game can be HUGE when you think about it, every conversation has multiiple responses, multiple endings, multiple moods. Every quest has the same, good or evil, or neutral.

Its driving me crazy already I want to hear every side of every conversation and do every possible ending of every quest, iv restarted 3 times already cos i wasnt as good as i wanted lol....

Sure there are more ppl like me...

I think Fallout is deeper than Oblivion in the respect of quest endings, conversation choices, but thats becuase Fallouts residents mainly have one thing to talk about - The War/Wastes.

In Oblivion theres endless things to talk about. Same with the quests, theres obivoulsy a lot leess than in Oblivion.

Not saying this is a good or a bad thing tho as they both help in diffrent ways.

Anyway i think Fallout will have nice replay ability even doing the MQ a few times, once good, once bad, once neutral.

Fallout 1 and 2 were great for their replayability value. I remember playing through each game twice, first as a good guy then secondly as a chem-addicted/slaver bad guy.

The third time I played each game I used an editor to edit my attributes so the game didn't become too boring and repetitious. It allowed me to explore all the different avenues you could take.

From what I remember certain perks dictated whether certain conversation topics would appear. For example the karma sutra perk was one of them. I think the equivalent in Fallout 3 is the Lady Killer perk.

I think this system compared to Oblivion works really well and adds a lot to the overall value of the game. I guess only time will tell....

Trying to find all the Keller Family tapes w/o consulting a walkthrough is hell.

Ditto. I managed to find three of those just randomly wandering around, but if I started a new game with the intent of finding them, there would be only one that I remember where I got it.
