LE TERMINATOR MOD!

(Sorry for my bad english, I will be quick.)

I was inspired by the Dwarven Mechanical Dragons mod, so...

It's not so lore-friendly, but if we can write a lore, there could be no problem anymore.

And I'm sure I'm not the one who will enjoy this mod...

 

 

 

~ First mod request:

 

Terminator T800 playable race, male and female model. Both with red eyes, badass metal body, and great statistics on health and strength.

They shall have the full robot appearance, not the human one!!!

By adjusting skeleton or draugr models, it should result a nice and bigger Terminator model.

I wanted to create them from the very zero but I do not know any program to do this, so here's my idea...

You would think this race is OP? Well, they are f***ing exterminating machines!

Anyway, I thought about some BIG adjustements too, something like:

 

1) Terminators do not need armor pieces, they already are heavily armoured;

2) they can see in the dark thanks to their glowing red eyes;

3) their left arm could have an incorporated gun, rechargable by dropping bolts in random chests. This could be a valid replacement for the archery skill tree;

4) they could have a lore (and I can write it) to justify their existence in an ancient world like this;

5) you can enchant AND disenchant their own body pieces;

6) there is the possibility to forge their new and thougher body parts and choose appearance, armour level, style and color (something like full ebony body or dwarven metal body, etc.);

7) the stealth skill won't be affected by armour sets, because they are programmed to be silent and lethal machines;

8) they have a 10% chance to make every enemy flee in terror (this cannot affect dragons: it would be a mess to chase them);

9) character creation: you can choose eye colors, head parts shapes, weight, blood marks instead of warpaints, sex, etc. like a normal race.

10) their voice should never come out. Their are silent even if damaged, because they can't feel pain. Their dragon shouts shall sound robotic.

11) how could such robots be the dovahkiin? Well, their are not. They steal energy power from dead dragons with magic... ops, I mean technology! XD

12) they can't equip, drink or eat anything. They do not sleep. They recharge their power by waiting;

13) during eras the Terminator kind was affected by magic and they have magicka pool too, but it's quite narrow;

14) there are some random Terminator bosses in the world, even if rare they shall give you a memorable battle;

15) ......

DRAGONS IN TERMINATOR FORM! NOTHING ELSE!

Well, you think Alduin is already black and already has shiny red eyes, but what about a dovah having a full strong metal body with mechanical wings and a big cannon firing bombs from the throat? Anway, this is not meant to replace classical dragons. It's an addon.

Well, this mod requires a lot of work... I'd like to have at least the playable race without all the options ^^ I hope someone could do this soon!

i guess it could be done...it's not outworldly or anything

though, from the lore perspective, you shouldn't have shouts at all...a machine shouldn't be a dragonborn, so main quest line should be out of the question IMO

apart from that, it sounds really amazing!!! wish anyone could pick it up and make it happen

Yes, machines can do that. They are not possessed by a dragon soul but can imitate perfectly the dragon tongue, so everyone think they truly have a soul.

This is necessary because otherwise you could not play Skyrim and the whole main quest xD

I know it sounds weird, but not so much to me.

I think about a terminator race that looks like a robot, not a human-robot one. Thanks for your suggestion but i already said that i want the robot ones, not the human version xD

What if in the race menu there were a couple of replacement sliders for say skin tone and warpaint that would allow you to decide how much combat damage you want to show on the terminators organic flesh. In the warpaint menu you could pick between a bunch of different patters for how much of their face you want to show, between a little bit of metal, to the entire metal skull, with a similar idea for the skintone slider.

Basically varying degrees from this...

to the fully metallic skull like you said. The skintone slider would have a similar function.
