zed140
By example, connecting an 308 ammo box to the workshop show all .308 in the workshop. Same for mannequin by exemple, a combat armor mannequin get the list of all combat armor part in the workshop storage. Same for weapon rack (this one must also become a container before) This idea come to me because I get a bit tired to fill all my ammo box manualy lol Or a simple plugin that can filter one or more base item as example, and can be plugged to any container. Thanks Edited October 17, 2019 by zed140
StormWolf01
Heyas Zed! What you are referring to, is linked containers, or networked containers. Its a great idea, and awesome to have, for all of your pit stops. And yeah, it Does make it a lot easier than trying to haul a bunch of ammo from one settlement, to another. There's a mod here https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23751 that kinda does what you're looking for. But it doesn't include mannequins or display racks. What it does is give you the option to craft specific containers from the workbench that will link to other containers crafted at other settlements.Which is actually better than some of the mods I've seen that try this for consoles, since those don't always include provisioning for mod installed settlements. (The new custom locations just aren't always networked into the chain, because the modder couldn't put the info for them into their mod).I know that isn't exactly what you're looking for, but it's a start? Another thing I'd recommend is using a mod that lets you lock doors, or items, or containers, IF you have settlers on your settlements. They can take your stuff, if it's not locked down. Especially during settlement attacks. (Not to mention that it makes it so that Dogmeat can't go opening every single door that he gets close to!!) I've seen a few attempts at networking containers directly to the settlement's main workbench. I'm really sorry to say that most of them .... well, the main workbench is really easy to make it glitch or bug out if you're not careful. Not to mention that settlers and supply trains access it's inventory. IF you don't care about cheats, or immersion, there is also portable containers that you can summon up, exchange items with, and then unsummon again, where ever you want to. Edit- I'd recommend keeping at least 1 supply depot settlement that ISN'T networked to the others. I know that there's a bug that if a settlement gets buggy, or taken over, or made otherwise unusable to the player, the inventory in it is lost. I dunno if that would pass along thru a network of containers or not, so better safe than sorry  [/edit] Edited October 17, 2019 by StormWolf01
