swgoddard Posted October 18, 2019 Posted October 18, 2019 When I press e on an item i can physically move it but it wonât go to the inventory.I am not holding the e key down constantly.It used to work fine.When looting containers they work but not bodies they just move around as if I am holding.Driving me nuts!As some quests I need to get items.
IsharaMeradin Posted October 18, 2019 Posted October 18, 2019 Make sure that your E key isn't getting stuck. The key itself could be raised but the contact underneath could still be stuck. Easiest way to test is to open Notepad and press E. If it keeps adding another E then it is an issue with the keyboard. Unless there is damage to the circuitry, a good cleaning can solve a lot of keyboard related issues. Windows also has a sticky key feature that tends to be on by default. If a key is pressed fairly quickly five times in a row, Windows will make it "stuck". It may have its uses at times but tends to be more trouble than it is worth. Might want to see if that is on as well and disable it. Beyond that, no idea.
