xneseyx
I decided to be a blood mage in DAO because I've never been one before. but it seems like every time I turn around I have to click on my blood magic mode again... every time I talk to someone, every time I go to a new floor.... (right now I'm in the circle tower) and I was wondering if someone could help me figure out what's going on.

I've just about given up on even trying to use any blood magic. What makes it even more annoying is that I have a couple MODs loaded just for Blood Magic. ThingTheWiz
You could try using your tactics to ensure that your persona activates the mode at any time: "target= self, situation=any" should do the trick
Sync182
You could try using your tactics to ensure that your persona activates the mode at any time: "target= self, situation=any" should do the trick Can't see this helping...on the grounds that Tactics don't apply to the controlled character, and the OP said "I decided to be..." and not "I decided to make Morrigan/Wynne..." Otherwise, you'd be changing charcters at the start of every combat just to get Blood Magic mode active...rather annoying. :-/ Not that I have much to offer in the way of help with Blood Magic - never gone with it. ThingTheWiz
Sync, you are right to point out that Tactics don't apply to the controlled character ; if your gamestyle is to solely control the main character permanently then this solution will not help. That's not my style - I regularly switch between characters in the light of what is happening on screen....... but to each his own approach ! LemmingoftheGDA
Who's willing to test a possible fix for me? Unzip, put the folder in your override folder, test it, and let me know. EDIT - Thandal Rules. She found the fix listed below. I should have known someone would have done something about this long before I even bought the game, and they did. Since I never played blood mage I had no idea. I will not be stepping on Mr. Lee's work. Thank you again Thandal. Thandal
See also: "No Automatic Deactivation". From the Description:Formerly known as "Keep Berserk and Blood Magic Activated". It was renamed since it now extends to all abilities according to user configuration.

LemmingoftheGDA
A million apologies. I "ass"umed. I should have known. The ladies do like DA2 more than the men. I guess it's the female Hawke and the hunky 78 lbs Fenris.
