TheDimitrijSquirrel Posted October 15, 2012 Share Posted October 15, 2012 help please, i have a problem with the screen. there are wierd, short, green/red coloured, pararel lines on the screen. they are not on the entire screen, but on certain places. for example, when i scroll down tha page, they will stay on the place on the page, not on the same position on the monitor. Dan3345 Posted October 16, 2012 Share Posted October 16, 2012 What kind of monitor is it appearing on? What is the video card if you know, and what is your power supply/how old is it? The video card could be dying, and artifacting, or the monitor could be dying. We need a bit more information to help diagnose the problem. There could be lots of things causing artefacts Heat, a dying videocard, a broken flatcable or just a broken screen. If it is out of warranty bring it to a shop that can diagnose the problem and give you an estimation of the repair cost, then you can decide if the repair-cost is worth it or not.
