BlueGunk
My game (only 24 saves) has a camera focus glitch in first person. When an NPC, say the courier or Aela in the opening stages on Whiterun plain, talks to the player, the camera twitches slightly but remains focused on wherever I was looking. So I can't see or move to look at the NPC speaking to me.The camera does not automatically move to look at the courier/NPC. I've done a load of investigation including the usual "mod plod" of testing mods, verifying game files and replacing my INIs. I've been through any mod and animation I think could affect dialogue camera, and drawn a blank. Rather than bore you with a list of mods, might anyone have an idea like "I know that glitch, I've seen it before..."? Learning how the game calls the camera for these events would help me track the bug. I've played and modded Skyrim enough years to have seen 99% of all failures, but this one is new on me. Thank you for any ideas.
BlueGunk
I'm glad to report the solution: The cause of the problem is in the mod "Followers as Companions SSE" and only when the option "No NPC Pushing" is checked. I placed a bug report on the mod. It will work OK if you leave this box unchecked. Cor, that was a bit of Plod Detective work!!! Not a mod, but an option IN a mod! I deserve a few beers... :teehee:
